10-0 Chargers. Bowe blew it w/ a fumble. That was his punishment to the team for not trading him.

Note to Dexter McCluster: when you pose after a fairly ordinary first down run, it lets everyone who's watching know that you don't make plays very often.

Rivers is 11/11 for about 160 yards. Although I do love me some Phillip Rivers, he's beating up on a crappy team (much like someone else we know).

Man it's easier to play QB in the NFL these days.

Rivers is now 13/14 for 172 & a TD. And he just threw the last one away.

Interception Eric Berry. In the end zone. Saved 3 points (or 7).

Man, Cassell IS Alex Smith cerca 2010. Starts off the year with terrible turnovers, a lot of them on tipped balls, and losing every game. Now, he can only hope for a college coach to come to save his career like Harbaugh. KC was hyped a little for being a playoff contender (not SB) this year like we were in 2010.

Cassel has 8 TIPPED INTs this year and 3 of them have been returned for a TD. Yikes.

The tipped passes was what I was referring to mainly. The coaching changes could make it even more similar.

Rivers' stat line tonight - 18/20 for 220 yards, 11.0 avg, 2 TDs/1 INT, sacked once, 125.0 QB rating. More incredible, I think Rivers' first incompletion was a throwaway and the 2nd one was an INT right before halftime.

Smith's stat line Monday night -18/19 for 232 yards, 12.2 avg, 3 TDs/0 INT, sacked 4 times, 157.1 QB rating. Smith's lone incompletion was a drop.

With that said, Rivers consistently threw the ball further down the field tonight than Smith did Monday night. I was just struck by how similar the numbers looked and AM NOT trying to compare the QBs in any other way than that.
