Timbers Win!

With our win last night the Timbers are 4-0-0 at home in MLS play! We shot up to third in the Western Conference standings! The best part is we got a clean sheet again winning 1-nil showing more improvement and maturity as a team. We were criticized early on for running up points but then letting those teams come back in our first two home wins of the season.

Very excited for next week's match against the Sounders FC at Qwest field. If anyone else is interested they should be playing the game on ESPN from what I remember. Go Timbers!

pretty impressive stuff from the Timbers so far this year

I might be hitching a ride with the southsiders in August for Whitecaps/Timbers in Portland ... Ill make sure to stay away from Timber Joey

tied against the Sounders. not bad considering the Timbers road game woes. Unbeaten at home but they can't seem to get a W on the road. getting a tie in a hostile environment like Seattle is at least a moral victory.

It's tough to come into enemy territory in possibly the loudest building in the league and come away with a draw. I give full credit to the Timbers in making the right statement and it really sets the stage for a huge game against Sounders FC in July! Go PTFC!
