Stayed away from this game. Figured what happened would happen. 100 plus degrees, ridicules conditions. Playing with fire whole series. Still excellent outcome all together. Should handle Detroit, may sweep.

Granted we have played sloppy D. But it had little to nothing to do with the outcome.

Going 2-12 with RISP, and having our pen give up 6 runs in 3 innings will get ya beat. In fact, either one of those alone is usually enough to cost you the game, much less having them both.

Going 2-12, regardless of how many we did score is never going to wash with me. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes ya just gotta put up some football numbers when given the opportunity, which we had, and win 16-12.

But you're points are taken, and this walking guys has got to stop. And it seems like we walk guys who should never be walked (6-9 hitters) and yet keep throwing to other guys (most recently Blackmon) who are beating us to death.

Throw in there our offense in the Rockies series jacked up their pen and we were pretty much shutdown by the starters. That can't be good going forward with teams with just as 'good' starters and a decent pen.

I think, for the most part, since we left KC, most starters we've faced have held us in check.

Was in Southlake and lightning knocked out the systems for a second. Raining everywhere and then get home in Flower Mound and dry as a bone.

What I do not want to happen is Yu start to pitch and then a rain delay comes. So when they start I hope there is a big window of no rain or just wait and play tomorrow.
