They're both trash, does it really matter?

I'm just saying, don't expect a world of improvement just bc you throw another has been in there

With the way things are going I think it is irresponsible to not find out. We are not in the race. Saunders has been given a fair shot. We could say the same thing about everybody we have put out there.

okay let's just keep throwing them out there what else do we have to lose

Here's AAA, what savior do you see there?? Mind you LuJack is getting his fair share of starts before he moves to the majors, probably not til September

I think besides an unprecedented amount of injuries to key players, the second most depressing thing about this season
I don't know who can beat the A's, I think they are legitimate WS contenders

Not much there. I know Irwin is 4-1 with something like a 2.22 era the last time I looked but I do not know that much about him since we picked him up.

MLB playoffs are a crapshoot. The A's still have to pull it off. I don't think they will..... They're built for the regular season, Jesse Chavez won't be throwing shut outs to top tier competition with high stakes involved.

I'd seriously root for anyone over the A's...but what AL team is going to knock them out? right now anyway, I say no one.

That's what it's come down to, if the A's get knocked out, I call the season a success and move on.

I think you're watching a team which could easily put the A's on the couch.

Detroit has done it the last 2 years? I'm not sure, but I think so. Even with the Ranger teams who went to the World Series I'd be nervous about playing Detroit in the first round. Verlander and Scherzer can take over a short 5 game series. Toronto swept the A's in their only series so far this year. The Dodgers and Giants are not to be taken lightly. The A's have a very tough path ahead of them. I don't want it to happen either. I despise the A's

Let the A's win it all this year and become fat next year. Not a whole lot we can do about it but reload for next year.

BP sucks, I've already thought of that...it was bad last year and one of the worst in the League this year

I agree about the BP. But they can wear the ball out, and their starters are solid.

I fully expect them to make a move to improve the BP as well.

Yes, Detroit knocked them out twice, (thank god) but I'm telling you their BP is absolutely putrid, they have to score 8 runs to win a game.
I suppose they're looking to pick someone up, but I don't what they have to trade

I can't stand the A's either, obviously...Gentry has grown a beard (pretty ugly one...it's the A's what else is there) and was celebrating with the team in some MLB clip, I wanted to barf, but he's probably happy about getting traded, so good for him I guess

I like Chirinos, hope he works out...seems like a gamer
He really is Lainey. The boy is going to play MLB and I hope it will be us.
