Pena and Choice have somebody behind them. Rua and Smolinski can play 1B and could DH. Choice has been really frustrating. I know the ability is there. He seems lost and is lacking confidence right now.
Smolinski and Rua have similar numbers across the board (except batting average .267 vs .300)
Klein has been nearly unhittable. Last time I looked his ERA was under 1.

Phil Klein might be a quick callup if he performs in AAA for an extended period, his numbers are indeed outstanding

OF Engel Beltre (leg) will begin rehab assignment Thursday at Frisco. #Rangers

Engel Beltre's rehab assignment will be with Round Rock.
Beginning of the year I wanted to say adios. But beggars can't be choosers now.
Both our their numbers were better a week or so ago. The whole Frisco team has been slumping.
I'm surprised they didn't call up Telis. He's been playing well too. They might wait until Alfaro is ready to come up to AA
Looking at the roster in AAA, minus Jackson now, we don't really have much in the way of talent but BP wise we have a collection of solid arms; West, Bonilla, Mendez & Feliz
Not sure where Ross fits long term, I know I haven't given up on him starting, he had some hard knocks but I still saw a load of talent he just has to put it together, I don't believe he has ever started above AA, maybe he can figure things out in AAA
Position player wise (minus the recent promotees) we had almost nothing in the way of young (and good) talent
Anyone know anything about Brett Nicholas' defense? I could see him being a solid backup catcher if he plays good defense
Looks like that includes Gallo, average down to .255
Come on guys, we have a Mavs thread!
Can't get anything past you jta.![]()
Without rules we have chaos![]()
I just said it to direct people there. I know you hate it. I've pissed off enough people today. I wasn't trying to with this.
