Over the past few years I've gotten into the NE style IPAs. I realize it might come across as a beer hipster thing but once you get into Treehouse, Trillium, Hill Farmstead etc its hard to drink other Hoppy beers.

Other Half in Brooklyn put out a 3rd anniversary beer this weekend that's unbelievable.

Just curious. I just started getting into it over the last few months.

Try some of the NJ IPAs (Kane/Magnify/Conclave) if you haven't. They're fucking good.

Hoppy beers clash with my taste buds. Can I get some bourbon instead?

Haha...if he's just getting into them, this is overload.

IPA's don't have to be overly bitter.

Any level of bitter is not good for me, but I'll keep trying new ones as long as my buddies keep bringing them to my house. Maybe I'll find one I like.

I have had the Pliney the Elder and the 120 Minute. Both were very good. Haven't seen the others in my neck of the woods.

Some of the "pineier" (sp) ones aren't so bitter. Deschuttes makes a Pine Cone IPA that is good. I think that is what is considered a more east coast IPA.

I'm not sure where 14th star is from...but the other ones on that list don't get distributed much outside of Ohio (aside from the Cigar City one of course).

I should scroll through my Untapped list to see if I could add a few more national ones. Definitely would add Hopslam.
