You could tell immediately he was hurt badly by him rolling around on the ice. The replay showed the puck hitting him pretty much right in the eyelid, and it doesn't take much imagination to figure out what might have happened.

Eye injuries are truly horrific. I mean, you have a very, very, very limited amount of time to take care of them. It really did appear to be RIGHT on the eye. That's the issue with a puck unfortunately. With a ball most types (except maybe a golf ball or something) it's big enough that your orbit protects the eye. But a puck on edge like that is a tragedy waiting to happen. Praying for the best, but man it doesn't look good on the replay. I can't handle eye injuries. Gosh I hope I never have a kid get one.
