Miami has had a rough crowd for years. I attended a Miami game against Maryland on a Monday night week 1 game a few years back. I was sitting next to Miami fans who told me after the loss, that since it was pouring like hell, there would have been a lot of fights except for the rain. Instead we all ran for cover.

Growing up in Blacksburg during the Big East days it got pretty rough any time Miami came to town. They brought some questionable characters in their fan base to act like idiots. Bar owners downtown dreaded those games.

It's shameful people act like assholes after losing a game.. poor sportsmanship.. I hate losing but I'm not going to attack another team's band over it.. it's the band for God's sake!
