I didn't see that coming, thought he'd make the team but on the bench. I do like the way he plays though and as Sillas said, 2nd base will work itself out. If all else fails we still have Guerrero

Or, he's starting being he's a veteran 2nd baseman and VETERAN SECOND BASEMAN MUST HIT SECOND IN THE LINEUP!

It's kind of ironic. Turner actually has a reverse platoon spilt (better against righties than lefties) and Gordon has actually had "success" against Miley (3 for 9 - 3 hits, 3 strikeouts). Not like it matters, we're nitpicking the weakest link in the lineup.

One thing that's nice is that the Dodgers are 1-0.

Kershaw was his typical self and SVS did his part.

If this the Dee Gordon tracking thread now, he did alright. Looked good at the plate, but then of course he made that error on defense.

One thing that has been weird is the plethora of injuries suffered this Spring; especially by pitchers.

In that regard, the Dodgers have been pretty fortunate so far. The injuries that have been suffered by the Dodgers at least have not been long term.

Arizona has lost Corbin for the year and Arroyo is struggling with a bulging disk. If they can't pitch effectively, it will be a long, unproductive season for them. Not that I'm wishing them success, but I do feel badly about the players involved as we are talking about their livelihood here.

The Dodgers are certainly off to a great start, but the possibility of injuries is always looming.
