Any other Walking Dead fans here? I've been watching it since the beginning. I don't read the comic book but the show always has some interesting twists. Can't wait for the new season to start. One thing that pisses me off is that it airs on Sunday when football is going on.I just DVR it and watch it later most of the time.

From what I have heard this next season is more about zombie action than the last season was. My worst time watching the show was at the farm and all of the drama with Lori. Glad they took her out! They have a lot of fresh meat since they took in all of the Woodbury people into the prison.

After seasons of my pals telling me this was the "best show on TV", I invested into all last season. Not a bad show, but I came away very underwhelmed, especially after the finale.

Looking forward to SOA a lot more.

Yes,it is not for everyone for sure. I'm still looking forward to the new season...a lot more action ,I hear. SOA is also one of my favorite shows. I'm surprised there is not a thread about it....unless it is on the hockey board also.

So you are saying there is no SOA thread on the hockey board ? Maybe I will start one here soon. I don't follow hockey so I would never know what is on that board. Thanks for the info.

It is an OK show, but that thing of dragging out one villain for an entire season is going to make the show suck if they keep going in that direction.

I heard that they are going to go zombie crazy this season and get away from the human vs human that has been going on .We will see.

Its my favorite show post football season b/c we go to my buddy's who hosts people every football sunday and we drink beer and eat wings just like it was a football sunday. When it is on.

I hope so, I like the concept and the story. I just don't like the season long plot. They could have done that Governor thing in say, half the season and then spent the 2nd half picking up the pieces and then end it with a new zombie threat. Their ending was a joke..

I agree... I like the show.. but it gets slow and corny at times.

But I will admit the show got me into the genre... and I started ready post apocalypse books... and I have been enjoying those.

Read one series that is only on Amazon kindle and is dirt cheap called The Remaining by DJ Molles... great series.. problem is he can't write the books fast enough.

Best post-apocalyptic book ever is The Stand by Steven King. It is OMG good. 1000+ pages, and the first 100 or so are slow, but it picks up and you can't put it down.
