Funny how ESPN shows the French Open in the Caribbeans, but not in the USA.

Men's Draw:

Djokovic's Quarter:

Coric vs. Shapovalov 3rd round: Not sure Shapovalov has shown a good clay result before, so I'll take Coric in 4.

Djokovic vs. Coric 4th round: Djokovic in 3.

Fognini vs. Bautista Agut 4th round: Bautista Agust in 5.

Djokovic vs. Bautista Agust QF: Djokovic in 3.

Thiem's Quarter:

Thiem vs. Del Potro QF: There should be at least one "surprise" in the tourney, and a good run by Del Potro may count as one, even though he's had good results here a few times in his career.

He just hasn't done it lately. Actually he made the SF last year, but he's had an injury plagued year this year so far, except for Rome.

I'll say Del Potro beats Thiem in 4 sets.

Federer's Quarter:

Wawrinka vs. Cilic 3rd round: I hope for the best for Wawrinka, but he hasn't shown great results in a while, so Cilic in 4.

Tiafoe vs. Tsitsipas 3rd round: I'll root for Tiafoe, but think Tsitsipas will win in 4 sets.

Cilic vs. Tsitsipas 4th round: This could be good, or a blowout. No idea. Tsitsipas in 3.

Federer vs. Tsitsipas QF: This has become a good rivalry this year. It would be great if Federer could get a memorable win. I'll be optimistic, so Federer in 4.

Nadal's Quarter:

Tsonga is in this quarter. Hopefully he plays well.

Nadal to the SF.

Djokovic vs. Del Potro SF: Djokovic has a 16-4 Head-to-head. I'll root for Del Potro though and say he wins in 3, in a weird match from Djokovic.

Federer vs. Nadal SF: Winning a set would be great for Federer. I'll pick Nadal in 3.

Del Potro vs. Nadal Finals: This is another lobsided head-to-head, 6 - 11. Nadal in 3.

Women's Draw:

Osaka's Quarter:

Ostapenko vs. Azarenka 1st round: Azarenka in 2.

Osaka vs. Serena QF: It's hard winning 3 majors in a row. Serena stops Osaka's run. Serena in 2.

Halep's Quarter:

Halep vs. Kvitova QF: Tall players can have some good runs here. Kvitova in 3.

Berten's Quarter:

Venus vs. Svitolina 1st round: I'm not going to pick Venus to lose in the first round. Venus in 2.

Venus probably loses in the 3rd round to Muguruza in 2 sets.

Sloane Stephens will win this quarter.

Pliskova's Quarter:

Wozniacki vs. Pliskova 4th round: I don't want to see either player lose. I'll pick Wozniacki in a surprising 2 sets.

Wozniacki vs. Kerber QF: I don't want to see either player lose. I'll root for the career slam, so Kerber in 3.

Serena vs. Kvitova SF: I was about to give the edge to the taller player, but changed my mind.

Serena in 3.

Stephens vs. Kerber SF: Kerber in 2.

Serena vs. Kerber Finals: They keep meeting on the biggest stages of majors.

Whoever wins, it will be a great story.

I'll pick Kerber in 3, but both players are great, so either can win.

Why do they think we want to watch the entire match of Novak/Rafa rolling their first round opponents?

Ridiculous. So many other/more competitive matches happening on the grounds but they're focus on showing a shitty match.

ESPN is the only network who knows how to cover GS tennis

But they still need to learn from ESPN+

I have ESPN+ and they would usually have the other matches but ESPN would still show you action happening on the other courts instead of exclusively showing one match. TC need to learn some tricks from ESPN because this is awful.

Thankfully I don't care about this GS as much as I do the other 3

This was odd.

Usually, NBC has exclusive rights to a match, and Tennis Channel can't show it once NBC's coverage starts.

It appears today wasn't such a case.

I remember when Nadal lost to Soderling, Tennis Channel couldn't talk about it, because NBC had the rights later that day.

All Tennis Channel could say was that a major upset had happened, but they couldn't talk about it today.
