Agreed on all levels and the haircut certainly warrants him a punch in the face just on principle. While Machado acted out of line possibly I also enjoyed hearing the fact that the O's beaned Donaldson afterwards as well as he is one of the first ones to start yelling crap from the dugout when that team takes offense to something.

:10:...hater # 2 is heard from. And another chuckle for me. Keep em coming guys.

I get the feeling he's one of those guys that's kinda like AJP. When he plays against ya, you hate. But when he plays for ya, you hate less.

Said to be same surgery Soto had and hopes to be back in the 3-4 weeks? Is Soto an extremely slow healer or is MM anticipating an extremely speedy recovery? Timetables for both recoveries seem to be much different

I'm wondering the same thing. Soto had his surgery over 2 months ago didn't he? And he's not even starting a rehab assignment yet.

How in the hell doesn't he expect to be back in a month? It's going to be 5 months for Soto.

Remember.... Soto had surgery in Feb. Came back and injured his knee in ST.

Soto can't help this team that much at this time IMO. Best he take all the time he needs to heal. The way Giminez and Chirino have been playing Soto may have to compete for his starting position.

Just got this tweet myself. What the hell is going on here!
Reconstruction may mean ending a career. In that case a second opinion would be an automatic.

I agree. My reference was regarding how long it's taking him to come back, and how little time MM thinks it's gonna take him.

But, what was just posted, and I didn't remember about Soto was, he re-injured himself. Completely forgot this.

Pretty sure I would hate him no matter what.

This from ESPN/Dallas:

After saying Sunday that he was having surgery on Wednesday to repair the ankle, which was going to keep him out about three months, Moreland is now pushing surgery back a few days to get a second opinion. If he doesn't need the full reconstructive surgery now, he could opt to have a bone removed from his left ankle and be out about three to four weeks.

Get the whole thing done Mitch if it needs getting done

I never hated AJ before he came to Texas but I think I hate him now after watching him play more last year

Thanks for clearing that up, I was pretty sure Soto was currently out with a meniscus injury as well

I remembered the knee and forgot about the achilles

In case anyone has any interest I posted a 2014 DL thread, you may want to take a look or avoid it. Though not many Rangers have avoided it this year so far. Best of luck to the guys who haven't landed there, stay healthy boys. The team needs you all now
