The donkeys were never all that they were made out to be. They merely benefited from playing a schedule full of pathetic defenses. In the few regular season games where they played even a mediocre defense, they were not dominant. And in fact, the only reason they were even able to make it to the Superbowl is because of freakishly good weather in Denver during their two home playoff games. Combine that with playing a San Diego team that lucked into the playoffs and a New England team missing a ton of key players due to injuries, the donks never really had a chance against a battle tested Seattle team. Reality will continue to hit Manning and the donkeys next season too.

Don't you all just love bitter fans? I guess they were less of a fraud than KC though

Gayer than the halftime show.

Per ESPN's defensive stats, here are the average defensive rankings of all 16 of the donkeys regular season games, relative to total yards, passing yards, and points allowed:

Total yards - 20th
Passing yards - 21st
Points allowed - 18th

The donkeys, like my Chiefs, benefited from playing a very weak schedule in 2013. That can't be debated. Manning and his numbers will fall off big time next season.

The Chiefs were frauds as well and that was exposed over the last half of the season as well as that epic choke job in Indianapolis. But no Chief fan is talking about the 2013 season as being the greatest ever either.

You certainly have to give that after Sunday, this notion of them being the best offense ever has refreshingly vanished. The team lost four games. You'd need to have a high school caliber defense to support that this offense was better than any other in NFL history with that kind of record...and SB performance.

Hammer's mom was on espn this morning. She said she's very proud of her son and his involvement with the Sports SportsHoopla boards but when it was pointed out that the man lacks any ability to logically connect posts, she said she was not surprised. When he was a boy she'd ask him what he'd like for dinner and he would reply "can I get a puppy?"

Well, they scored more points than any team in history and their low point total in a single game was 20 which matches the other team in contention for best offense of all time (both teams had 1 turnover in that game)... so ... have you watched Denver games? High school defense wasn't far off this year.

Ummm I guess you think you are making a point. The Broncos offensive output this year was record setting that is not even debatable so what is your point? The Broncos got beat by the better team, it's just that simple, and you attempting to goad Donks fans is immature and uncalled for.

If you had to wait until after the Super Bowl to gloat, odds are you were wrong.

The Broncos had alot of key injuries as well versus the Pats. Miller, Clady, Vickerson, Wolfe, Moore, Harris just to name a few but like Ive said before injuries are no excuse and Seattle destroyed Denver and obviously showed they were the best team in the NFL. I find it very funny how Patriots fans and Chiefs fans worry and post about the Broncos so much. Some of you need to get laid or just put a damn bullet in your heads. Have a great day!!

Not trying to goad anyone into anything. Most donkey fans are probably still in hiding anyway. I'm just pointing out that Manning set all those records playing against bad defenses and in an era that completely favors the offense relative to the rules. And that he is pretty much average at best when the conditions are less that perfect. And frankly the whole Manning vs Brady thing is laughable. Joe Montana never lost a Super Bowl. He's the GOAT. Though I would take Brady over Manning in a heartbeat. What NE accomplished this season given all of the devastating injuries they suffered is remarkable.

Apparently, I'm the first sports fan in history to be glad to see a hated rival lose? But more then even that, I'm a huge Russel Wilson and Richard Sherman fan. Though I'm hoping both of them leave KC next season with their butts in their hands.
