I got a feeling that the Patriot dynasty ends Sunday. It's been a historic run by the Pats.

I don’t think so. The immortal Brady holds all QB playoff records by permanent margins. The guy is a brilliant snake in the grass who cannot be trapped or caged. But, Eagles 27, Pats 23. :dhd: Nice!

that makes no sense. why didnt henson play full time then?

people forget brady nearly ended up at USC. mike riley wanted him badly.

lloyd carr had a lot to say about tom. good interview.

VIDEO: Lloyd Carr answers question on why Tom Brady didn't play more at UM

"he had a tremendous senior season"
I miss Lloyd.

Great man.

Hensen prolly played part time for the same reason Tommy did. He wasn't really better than the other guy. Drew was great at limiting TO's. But his mind was in between sports the whole time. Good example of how not to be a dual sport guy.

yup. brady was drafted by the expos as a catcher. he was actually viewed more as a baseball prospect.

he did the right thing and stuck with one.

The Expos had developed a significant interest in Brady, who was then a 17-year-old catcher and power hitter who could catch righty and bat lefty. After sending a scout to see Brady at Serra High School, the organization believed they’d identified a future All-Star.

They drafted him in the 18th round, because they knew his first love was football. However, they were willing to pay him more than the average 18th rounder. They sweetened the deal.

“In the neighborhood of bottom of the second (round), top of the third type money,” former Expos scout John Hughes told MMQB. “If we were going to offer him that type of money, we felt he was going to be a future big-leaguer.”

He made the right call.

Infield singles were not in his future. And we all know he hates the deep ball.

Uncle Buck is prolly my favorite John Hughes movie.

I'm 100% for a Jags/Viks SB.
It guarantees neither NE or Philly wins it.

Nobody wants Jags-Eagles, either, except the fans of those teams. If the Pats lose this weekend we might see the lowest rated super bowl in decades... maybe since the 1st one. A 61 share is the worst since the first and the last time it was that low was Raiders-Bucs in 2003.
