-Super Bowl I tickets cost about $12...and it still was not a sellout, the only game with this distinction. Today, tickets are a little more expensive.
:pound:

-Packers WR Max McGee is the first player to score in Super Bowl history....and he had a hangover. I've mentioned this before, but it fascinates me. McGee had 7-138-2 having the game of his life...no doubt out of FEAR. Vince Lombardi was his coach.:D

Yes he did. He went up to Boyd Dowler before the game and told him not to get hurt because he wasn't "feeling too well." I think on the first series Dowler separated his shoulder and was done for the day. McGee...you're up.

7 catches, 138 yards, 2 TD. Probably should've been Super Bowl MVP (with a hangover no less :pound:).

Pretty wild how the early years were AFC dominated followed by the NFC dominating and now there's not much pattern
