Interestingly enough the 9ers played the Rams twice, Vikings, and Ravens along with having to go up against their own offense in practice.

I don't know if that will translate into anything meaningful like the 9ers being used to playing speedy offenses or anything but I'm sure it doesn't hurt to have those experiences either.

On the flip side the Chiefs defense has to practice against their offense so they too might be accustomed to speed as well.

Any coach will tell you that the toughest thing to prepare for and defend is speed.

Yeah that's why I believe speed guys are going to be heavily sought after in the upcoming drafts.

I mean they've always been prized but you'll probably see their market be even hotter and guys will get drafted even earlier than they normally would've.

Because when you look at that list 4 of those teams made the playoffs and the Ravens and 9ers were 1st and 2nd in PPG and while the Chiefs were 5th I'd argue they would've been in the top 3 as well if Mahomes plays a full 16.

Guys that can run a 4.2 or 4.3 are going to be like left handed pitchers in baseball where just existing will have a ton of teams interested.

What will be interesting is if teams are going to trend back to running the ball more because most of the teams in the playoffs ran the ball a lot. 7 of the top 10 rushing teams made it with the Eagles barely missing the top 10 at 11 whereas 5 of the top 10 passing teams made it.

I also think that the return of the running game is a result of teams scheming against the pass(see Packers vs 49ers). The makeup of the defensive rosters is about stopping the pass. The better OCs made the adjustment to the run game in response to that.

NFL keeps raping defense... 49rs are doing a good job considering how hard it is in today's NFL ... I was just watching the flag football tournament in the pro bowl, they're pushing it like it's a beautiful game and so fun to watch.... These top execs in the NFL would love flag football as long as the fans kept tuning in.. NO more potential lawsuits.... Scary, because I get the sad feeling football is gonna die, I hope I'm wrong...

I watched the Pro Bowl for 30 seconds and it was a joke. Dude ran like 20 yards with the defender just jogging next to him laughing

It was basically a touch football game. Run for 5 yards, get hugged, official blew the whistle. Catch a pass, get hugged, official blew the whistle. However, I don't blame them. I've said it for years--there is too much invested in these players to go all out and suffer a torn ACL, Achilles, concussion, etc. in a stupid All-Star game. I CANNOT BELIEVE they still play this meaningless boring game.

Remember RB Robert Edwards of the Patriots? And that was on the beach.

I watched it Sunday for the first time in several years, and I was left wondering, "when did they change it to no contact?" RB's were completely unnecessary, it was all downfield passing with a couple of sacks.

However, the Fletcher Cox TD was the funniest thing I ever saw, it seemed like most of the players were having fun, and nobody got hurt.

Oh I know it's a meaningless game and players just go have fun. It annoys the hell out of me when people use the argument player X is better than player Y because the have this amount of Pro Bowls

Pro bowls mean shit!

Agreed. To have X number of Pro Bowls on a players' resume is pretty meaningless today. I have 3 Pro Bowls on my resume and I've never played a down in the NFL. It's kinda like the Grammys. Everyone has at least one.:D
