So in 2016, the new scheduling requirements kick in for the SEC. So each team plays a non-SEC P5 team. For the purposes of mee The only P5 games involving ting this rule, BYU counts (for Mississippi State - who also travels to Massachusetts for a tilt against the Minutemen!) Getting back to their roots, every team plays a game against an FCS opponent. The only P5 games involving the SEC on the second to last week of the season are conference games (which is probably the case for almost all P5 conferences to be fair) and only five games are scheduled against FCS teams at the late-season date (three G5 games are scheduled.)

I didn't check to see how many teams take a bye the week before playing Alabama. But I'm sure the Bammers will be happy to fill us all in on how difficult they have it.
