It wasn't a Packer fan who brought it up in this thread. Just as one example of who exactly is still butthurt.

So... You responding to someone saying that the call cost you a first round bye is not an example of butthurt?

Plus why would we be butthurt about the call lol? We won the game. There is no butthurt to be had among Seattle fans. The better team won and history reflects that.

I was just correcting a misstatement that the loss didn't cost the Packers anything. I'm sorry if that simple statement set people off. Congratz on your home field advantage.

Costing a first round bye and home field in the second round is pretty significant I'd say.

Yes, but the main reason you lost to SF in the playoffs last year was terrrible discipline against the read option, which you the Packers probably would have shown even if the game were at Lambeau.

I believe the only team that can beat us out for the 1 seed right now are the 49ers.

I believe that's correct. We would own the tiebreaker with the Saints because we beat them head to head, but if we lose both of our next two games and the 49ers win out, they'd own the tiebreaker against us because they would have only one divisional loss, whereas we would have three divisional losses.

Dunno about that. The Packers (just like my Bears) have to fix the defense before they can expect to win any game in the playoffs if they are lucky enough to get there, let alone the Seahawks who have not lost at home in 2 years.

What the pack just beat them there last year, oh you aren't one of those golden tate really got the td weirdos are you??

Better hope you don't make it to the Seahawks in the playoffs because we will happily shut the Packers up again

Get to see this all over again:

squashrodgers.gif

Rodgers was so terrified of our defense he would sack himself for us.

bruce.gif

You and your sellout team can discount double check that too.

hawksdance.gif

Aaron Rodgers vagina quivers at the thought of coming back to Seattle.

I'm sure he doesn't fear playing a team he beat in the place he beat them just last year..

I'm not sorry for shit. The Seahawks outplayed the Packers that game and history reflects that. They can cry all they want about losing to the Seahawks but if they were so much more deserving than us, why did it even come down to that play in the first place?

Their fan base is nothing but a bunch of crying pussies who are upset about losing a game on what they believe to be a bad call. Get over it. It has been over a year now and you phaggots still bitch about the call, unbelievable.

Look talk all the crap you want but no one cares about you until you get a ring. Being the champion of the regular season doesn't mean shit!

I'm not saying shit. I've been a fan too long to know that stuff can go wrong and usually does. I'll tell you who i'm afraid of even with the home field advantage,,,,,,,,everybody.

Everything seems to be aligned perfectly for the Hawks and that worries me. I just dont want to lose and I think this is the best chance the team has had since they've been in the league.

Well the Packers played very good pass defense against us last year, but Russell Wilson has improved by leaps and bounds since then and the Seahawks coaching staff doesn't reign him in nearly as much, either. Plus, we might have Percy Harvin back for the playoffs.

Even if the Packers win that game last year, it is different times. The Packers were a much better team defensively than they are now. The Seahawks were not even in full gear yet with Wilson.

Please don't be the dude that thinks that there team is hot shit and can not be beaten after getting a very lucky comeback win to stay in playoff contention.

You can't reason with packer fans over that game. This is a type of butt hurt that runs so deep they will still be crying about it 10 years from now. Seattle won that game and deserved to win it if for no other reason than GB didn't do enough to win it convincingly. At best it was a more or less evenly played game that was horribly officiated both ways. Bad breaks happen to every team in the league, and generally does at least one game a year. It was a minor game early in the season that didn't have any impact on their ability to get into the playoffs and yet you'd have thought they were jobbed in a playoff or super bowl game with as much crying and whining as they have done over this.

One of the most storied franchises in the history of the NFL has one of the most embarrassingly pathetic fan bases over this subject. It really is sad to see.

Good for you! Perhaps you should stop giving a f*ck about the "fail mary" call, too. It had very little impact on the Packers season last year, didn't it?

HAHAHA

I never mentioned last year and don't give a fuck about that either. Interesting that you would bring that up......feeling a bit guilty perhaps?

I think some have a fascination with "butthurt". They go on rants about "butthurt" fans and talk about not being able to let things go, but at the first hint of a subject, they're right there again, hammering away on their keyboards about the same subject they tell others they're "butthurt" about and can't let go. Ironic? pathetic? typical?

So if any team would have essentially wrapped up the one seed and someone made a thread about it you would have taken the time to make some bitchy post about how much you dont care?

I call bullshit. Youre still sore.

Think what you will. The bottom line is that the Hawks fans have to be the most insecure fan base I have ever seen.

Look how good we are, look how good our defense is, look how good our home record is

Do you really think that any fan of the game needs to be consistently reminded on how the Hawks are playing? It appears too difficult for some of their fans to just sit back an enjoy the ride without the daily chest thumping.

pity

Look man, I am sorry that the way that some fans act bothers you so much, I really am. I know that there are plenty of Hawk fans that can be overbearing. But I have à hard time believing that it would bother you so much if not for that game..

And FTR, the OP was hardly chest thumping. But I know that generalizing can become à chronic habit.

Your words have some merit.
I can only speak for me but having been a diehard Seahawk fan since `78 I am amazed at how good we are playing. We have always been an afterthought. We has a decent team in `05, but that has been IT! For 38 years or so.
We have never had a Marino, an Elway, A Brady, or a Manning. Just look at the Colts. They go straight from Manning to Luck. We have never had that break. Never.
I have been a season ticket holder for 26 years. Now we have a team to crow about.
I still can't believe we are a good as we are. This kind of team has never been seen by Hawk fans so if we are a little shell shocked, over the top, want to hear more, ect get good with it as we have been deprived for too long.
We are due.

Go Hawks!
