I expected the pitching staff to be very mediocre but I am surprised in regards to our offense. In 11 of the last 14 games we have scored a total of 23 runs. We have been bad in many aspects of the game. But its going to take time. The Astros were the worst team in MLB for I believe 3 straight years while they rebuilt. But they had a plan and stuck with it. That is what we need to do. It is great to see what guys like Dunning and Otto are doing. They will hit their valleys as they are learning. And as we continue to rebuild our minor league teams as they were gutted a few years ago I see some hope down the road. Just need the FO to stay on track and not do some knee jerk move that hinders this progress.

Kevin Pillar, OF, Dodgers: This season marks Pillar’s first taste of Triple-A ball since 2014, and the veteran outfielder is overmatching pitchers to the tune of a .313/.415/.627 slash line over 82 plate appearances. One would imagine this performance will earn Pillar a look in Los Angeles or perhaps another team if the Dodgers don’t select his contract.
