It's an NFL franchise. Any city would welcome them with open arms if they didn't already have one. You can send that "heaping pile of shit" to Edmonton. I'd gladly take them to have NFL football an hour away from my house.

LA doesn't give a fuck about football. Every team that has gone there has failed. Nobody cares to go the games.

That city has just been so fucking high they forgot.

Well St. Louis screwed L.A out of the Rams in the first place so that is what we like to call, karma.

That wasn't STL's fault. L.A. just isn't an NFL city and of course Georgia.

STL clearly isn't an NFL city either. How many more teams will they be given and then lose?

STL had the Rams at the bottom of the league in terms of attendance. We all know STL is a baseball town first and foremost. STL had to come up with a ridiculous offer (of which they couldn't hold up their end on, allowing the Rams to go home) to convince the Rams to move there, and even then the Rams had to force the NFL to allow the move to STL.

Which number is bigger 2 or 3?

Sure, but then followed by 2-14. The previous regimes were painfully bad in the draft (with a few exceptions) and free agency. 3-13, 2-14, 1-15, 7-9, 2-14, then Fisher/Snead took over: 7-8-1, 7-9, 6-10, 7-9. Bradford was only fully healthy (16 games) for that rookie 7-9 and the 7-8-1 in Fisher's first season.

Bradford got some exercise running for his life. Tom Brady would have failed behind that line.

How many of those 2 came back?

The Raiders aren't a true example; that whole shenanigan was just to secure a stadium deal to return to Oakland anyway.

3 teams left LA. 3.

Give it another 15-20 years and it will be 4.

LOL. Give it another 15-20 years and STL might get team #3.

You're going to count 1 inaugural season in the AFL lol? Don't be surprised if that Chargers franchise could still return as well.

The one true LA franchise was the Rams.

The fuck does it matter if a town is a football town or not?

Nobody attended Rams games because they sucked. They sucked hard and for a majority of the time they were in STL because of bad coaching, scouting and drafting. You know why people put up with the Browns sucking? Because they have a shit ton of championships in their history. People follow winners. If you need any more proof then look at the college football board or check out what happened to Kansas City 2 years ago with the Royals.

The NFL is a national TV sport.

The Rams issue is that they missed their window. Last year should have been Fisher's Super Bowl run with the defensive depth they had. He came in with awful contracts, the Rams whiffed on top OL prospects twice in the top 5 and Bradford never worked out and the team never invested in a top WR. Its a passing league and they are just now showing some life in that regard but their defense isnt as good as it was last year.

Now they gutted their team for Goff. They'll be a semi competent, semi dirty 8-8 team moving forward.

Sorry, calling bullshit on your Browns explanation. Rams have had 2 Super Bowl appearances within the past 17 years, whereas the Browns haven't had one since 1964. 3 more Browns championships in the 50's and 4 in the AAFC in 40's are even less of an impact on today's fan whose parents (grandparents?) may not have even been born yet. The Browns have been mediocre at best in the past 25 years, and have even lost their team and had it replaced with an expansion roster. Cleveland still supports their team better. Buffalo hasn't seen the playoffs since the same year the Rams won the super bowl, and small market Buffalo still supports their team better. Communities build a relationship with their teams. Rams fans in home games in recent years (even in the Fisher years of near .500 play) would be drowned out by opposing fans on a consistent basis.

Regardless, STL got the team by making a deal they couldn't hold up. That deal still had to be forced past the NFL to get the Rams to STL. That very deal was the same reason they couldn't keep the team in town.

Bullshit on the Browns. Jim Brown and the history from those teams matters. STL had the NFL Cardinals and comparatively speaking only had the Rams for just under a generation and they sucked for a large percentage of that time. Everything else is apples and oranges with that comparison. STL still has some football cardinals fans and some rams fans and honestly the town is pretty much ruined for the NFL now. I know quite a few people that have pretty much stopped paying attention, though the Kaepernick antics haven't helped.

Rams leaving LA in the first place was a bit haphazard. LA is the 2nd biggest metro in the US. Kroenke bought the Rams as an investment. They were going to LA or London and LA probably made him more money. Comparing LA and STL on an even playing field is just absurd which is why most STL fans knew the team was numbered for quite awhile.

Counting the time the St. Louis cardinals football team was in STL which was 27 years they had 3 playoff appearances. The Rams had 5 here in 20 years. Thats a combined 8 playoffs appearances in 47 years. We haven't seen a lot of good football here. The Rams attendance was still better here when they sucked vs when the Rams were in LA and had the best RB in Dickerson in his prime. Saying STL is a baseball town only is a joke. Its just the Cards have one of sports best organization and the Rams are one of the worst.

Wow! A team loses by 3 points on the road and they're garbage. This imaginative trolling really makes me want to spend more time here. Great job guys. HammerDown would be proud.

Honestly, no one outside LA thought Goff would be a good pro... Not a sell the farm, 1st round draft pick good, that's for sure...

You haven't been watching the Rams the last decade... this is a pattern with this team. They can't win games they should win. 7-9 Fisher.

Yeah I still can't believe they did it. think of the quality starters and depth they gave up with those draft picks. You don't give up the farm unless it's for an Andrew luck type prospect.

You'd never see a trade like that for a Luck type prospect because the cost would be double what the Rams gave up.
