Should been more, but you know how it goes, it's who you know. RG taking care of the guy that landed him that big raise.

Actually I thought it would be 4 to 6 games because of the way TB handled it...NE...$1 mil bucks and 2 draft picks...1st rd and 4th rd.

I thought that was just severe enough to make the people in charge in Foxboro realize they are not above the long arm of the commish...friend or no friend.

If they really wanted to hit the team hard I would've taken the 1st rounder in '17 also....overall, justice served imo.

He's not eligible to return till October 18. Quit being a crybaby. You said I was delusional on a 4 game suspension, fine, and a 1st round pick. Now, are you being delusional now or just plain clueless?

You said late Oct. It's only mid Oct and even that is only because of a bye.

And it won't be Oct. 18, it will be much sooner, so you'll be highlighted as wrong.

You missed it by much more than that, it's not going to hold up under appeal and at worst will be mid late Sept.

UK going the wishful thinking route I see.

This is something we should all continue to complain about and we should have a day that we do not go to a football game to protest this. The commissioner talked about the integrity of the game but this is another time the Patriots cheated. Robert Kraft said before the Wells report that he and the coach and Tom Brady talked all the time and had honest discussions. That means that he and the coach also knew about it and Brady is protecting them. This is a team that regularly cheats so all three should be kicked out for at least a year. Look at New Orleans which was not nearly as bad as this.

And you're patting yourself on the back for being wrong?

You said late Oct, he got 4 games which will be reduced if handled through only the NFL appeal system, and won't happen till late this season or not this season at all if taken to court like in the Vilma case.

Even if it was upheld he would return mid Oct. and that is only because the Pats have a bye week in the middle of that time frame.

Complete fail on your part.

The punishment is appropriate and necessarily harsh because of what is at stake - THE INTEGRITY OF THE NFL, which in concept bears similarity to the Black Sox and Pete Rose scandal. Who would watch a game that is rigged. Look at the forest and not a tree. No player or team is above the game!

A replay of the Super Bowl between Seattle and Baltimore would suffice.

Bump for NEPatsfan. You were just saying?

Are you not the poster that said he would be out till late Oct?

And you will be wrong with that prediction as well, since it's highly unlikely he will serve 4 if any at all.

Whatever Dude, I nailed it, while you said he would get no suspension, proving you are the Captain of the football clueless

And it hasn't been finalized yet so you have already been proven wrong since there is nearly zero chance he will serve 4 games. It will be less than 4, possibly even 0 which is not what you predicted.

You failed.

What a farce, Goodell best friend with Kraft will decide on Brady s fate! Brady and his team and Belicheat have been cheating since he has been in the league. They cheated by stealing signs in their first S.B. against St. Louis which had a very potent offense and since they got away with it have kept on cheating. The whole team should be suspended for a year. Only Pats fans think otherwise.

:L If you are going to whine about them cheating at least get the story straight on what actually occurred. You need to go back and read up on the whole "spygate" story. It had nothing to do with stealing the signals of the Rams in the SB.

Furthermore it had to do with filming from the sidelines in the first game of the 07 season after being told it was no longer allowed, Prior to that season it was.

That's strange considering a Pats cameraman was kicked out of Lambeau for illegally taping the sideline in 2006.

And the memo to no longer film from the sidelines went out when?

:L

Hope this answers your question:

In a memo to NFL head coaches and general managers on Sept. 6, 2006, NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson wrote: "Videotaping of any type, including but not limited to taping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals, is prohibited on the sidelines, in the coaches' booth, in the locker room, or at any other locations accessible to club staff members during the game."
