No Wallace actually seemed alright once you called him on his BS but over there he would write so much BS that I think the mods actually cared about him over some of the other trolls who try to start a fight. A retard (Wallace) trying to start a fight is funny, troll (unnamed people) starting a trolling fight is not cool

Back to football, UW going to be like 18th or something?

I would be shocked to see them that high, but as you know I don't pay all that much attention to the polls anyway. I think the entire system is a joke and none of them are worth a piss until at least 5-6 games in anyway.

Still UW's ranking will depend on how much the pollsters believe UW really is legit vs those that think BSU was way over valued. My guess is that game was too one sided to give BSU any credit at all which could actually hurt them. If they beat them by 7 they probably get a higher ranking.

Those things will work themselves out as the season goes on. If they beat Arizona at home in 4 week and their two games inbetween are good enough they should be ranked for sure. Personally I'd rather they take steps forward and win some big games this year than worry about what the south/east biased pollsters think anyway.

I just want to watch some damned good football at the new stadium. Damned bye week. This week sucks ass.

Sure, and we all do talk about them. They are good for that, but I have never bought into them actually representing the order of who is actually better than who and while it may seem obvious it isn't, there are many who believe it does. That's all I'm saying.

They were around 40 something I believe in most going into this game? That would mean making the top 25 might be tough, but again it depends on how much credit they get for this game. I wouldn't have any problem with them not being ranked as it doesn't mean anything right now anyway. Just go out and beat Arizona and get some upsets in those tough road games and no one will keep them down.

This is the part that makes no real sense though. Had 3 plays gone differently last season UW ends up a 9 game winner and probably right around the low 20's with the very same kids they have now. 3 self inflicted wounds and they are 40th and now have to do 10x more to move up. Just seems like a silly system to me.

UW will be in the top 20 this week. Makes no sense because no one really believes its anything but mythical. Boise started out at #19 but really their only accomplishment last year was beating UW in the MAACO. But many believe that Boise always has a good team. Look at the ranking by your buddy at USAT, #9, simply because they always win 11-12 games. So UW will start out higher than 19 and move up... until they get to Tempe.

The game in Tempe might be huge for both teams and ASU will be rightfully favored, but UW won't be in the top 25 by then if they are anywhere near the team they have been in recent years. They need to show they can play quality teams on the road and win and it isn't just your game. They have Arizona, @ Stanford, and Oregon before they go to Tempe. I think most people feel they will likely be no better than 4-2 going into that game. 5-1 would mean they have something really special going on.

I have relatives in Oregon and find myself down there every couple of years. My aunt lives in waldport and we have been out on the coast near there many times. In fact it's been a couple of years now so I need to talk to the wife about a trip down there before spring. At least as far as tillamook if not farther down the coast. Will have to check in with ya on a beer trip.
