GOOD EVENING WASHINGTON FANS WHERE EVER YOU MAY BE...

Looks like the long term forecast for Sat nite will be dry and somewhat cool from what I hear. Ball will be hard as a rwak and I see TO's coming from both squads. And don't these PAC games come down to who has the fewest TOs in the gamer wins?

Lots to talk about this week as me Beavers are "spiraling" down the toilet like a turd in need of flushing. I think we "clog" the toilet bowl up this week and right the ship before the Civil in 2 weeks.

Hope Price plays, but #12 didn't look to bad last weekend, so don't fear the unknown Doggie fans. Gawd knows me Beavs have had their fill of mobile QBs and the new guy looks to me like he has a set of wheels with a nice touch on his throwing arm too.

A fight for PAC NORRIS third place on the line or close to it I spose.

Should be a good game.:suds:

I hope # 10 plays (I think that's who you meant), and I hope we're the turd that refuses to flush on Saturday! :suds:

so what is everyone's take on the game this coming week between the Utes and Cougs?

As a UW fan I'm all on board for the pirate to bring it and get their 6th win. Not just to get them bowl eligible, but also to take some heat off the apple cup.

Not sure how many of you realize this, but WSU has only been to 10 bowls in the history of their program...

Let that sink in a second.

10 bowls.

120 years.

TEN

Their last RB win? 1916 (their only RB win)
Half of their bowl games came under coach Mike Price. Outside of his fairly brief career at WSU they have managed only 5 bowls over the other 100+ years of playing football. :L

How can you not want to pull for an underdog like that? WSU hasn't been to a bowl in a decade.

Besides wouldn't it be fun to watch the coug fans (few as they may be up here) squirm over having to be excited for a bowl game with a coach they hate? I mean what's not to love there right?

So what say you: Utah or WSU in this game?

Going with WSU only because Utah's QB is out for the season if not for good. I have a soft spot for WSU because a good friend if mine in the service was a Coug and got us tickets to some games. That was a great outing in those days and in reach of the base on a weekend pass. WSU was my PAC team until I moved to AZ.

The question wasn't who do you think will win that game, but who do you want to see win that game. With Wilson out for the year I'll probably still go with WSU to answer both questions. Utah is on a 4 game losing streak and hasn't scored more than 24 in any of those losses. In the last 4 games against largely the same opponents WSU hasn't scored less than 24.

That's right cougs. I think you are going bowling this year! The pirate is going to need a bigger boat to get you all there.

Is a bowl game in his second season a sign that maybe, just maybe Moos knew what he was doing?

Wallace, I'd pretty much bet almost anything that your boys are going to win this coming game. I still can't let it go by without going for a full week avi bet. I'm sure I am going to lose, but just like the Oregon game against Mamba I don't back down from an uphill climb. I'm sure you are in right? I mean you are a beaver not a chicken.

Odd piece of info, make of it what you will
In game 11 of 2007 Oregon lost to UCLA in the last game Oregon was shut out.
In game 11 of 2009 Oregon held on to win by 3 at Arizona in 3 OT.
In week 11 of 2010 Oregon held on to win at Cal by 2.
In game 11 of 2011 Oregon lost to USC by 3 in OT.
In game 11 of 2012 Oregon lost to Stanford by 3.
In week 11 of 2013 Oregon lost to Stanford by 6.
This is game 11 at Arizona this week.

All Aboard!!!

4 star Alabama commit OL Viane Talamaivao has flipped to USC today.

And Cal's top recruit of it's class so far, DB Jaleel Wadood de-committed today and appears he will choose USC instead.

Wazzy's off to the store to buy a litre of fireball.

--Washington State has extended the contract of football coach Mike Leach for two years, ensuring he'll be at the helm through the 2018 season, athletic director Bill Moos said Monday.

Leach has led WSU to a 5-5 record in his second season, 3-4 in the Pac-12, as the Cougars prepare for Saturday's game against Utah in Pullman.

That's the most wins for the Cougars at this point in the season since 2006.

"Mike Leach has done a fabulous job in his short time at Washington State," Moos said in a press release. "Extending his contract through the 2018 season will ensure a bright future for Cougar football."

The Cougars are one win shy of qualifying for a bowl game. They have not played in the postseason since 2003.
