I don't so much care as rooting for them to lose, but I don't sit on the edge of my couch to cheer for them when they aren't playing a Pac-12 school. I can't imagine UW winning an actual full national championship and me beating my chest like we won it.

But I also can't imagine how Ryan Leaf would've been an academic all conference player in the SEC, I'll never understand them down there.

Im not a conference cheerleader unless a pac team is playing someone i dislike. teams like Oklahoma or Notre Dame.
I also stand up for the conference when other fans bash the conference and say things like only oregon and Stanford were good I will point out Arizona State, UCLA and USC all had 10 wins. and such arguements.

I'm pretty much the same way. I wouldn't cheer for UCLA if they were playing Al-Qaeda, but outside of that, it just depends on who the PAC team is playing.
