I'm going with the over on this. USC has 4 games that worry me, @Stanford, ASU, @UCLA and Notre Dame.

I think we get a split of those 4 games which would put us at 10-2 for the season. Even if we only get 1 of the 4, it puts us at 9 wins.

Considering it's a mostly new coaching staff and the last year of sanctions, I'll be very happy with a 9-10 win regular season and hopefully a win in a decent bowl game. It would set the stage very nicely for 2015 when the sanctions are finally over.

Pretty much those games are why i took the just under. or in other words 8-4 i probably should take the just over at 9 figure you should get at least 1.

It's still kind of funny that duck fans will tell you why they hate husky fans so much, but not see that they have become exactly that. The hypocrisy is just funny.

What's hilarious was for decades all you heard from Ducks fans was that Huskies were elitist snobs who all tailgate on yachts and "live in the past" because we talked about our historical win record against UofO, the NC win, Rose bowls, etc, etc... That all we did was live in the past.

Then Uncle Phil whips out the checkbook to a tune of over 500 million dollars, the Duck sports not involving track and field cease to be doormats, and now Ducks are just fine with pointing out past Ws and bowl wins. Imagine that???? History now does matter to them.

But at the same time, it's come with 2 investigations and sanctions of just it's football team, including one of their HC actually being BANNED from coaching in the NCAA. But bring up all the embarrassing shit like those Thug U. longest yard rosters Kelly sported and all the obvious conditions that came along with all those millions from Uncle Phil, and it's :lalala: time from them.

Cherry picking 101 must be one of those electives the SA's at Oregon take to keep up appearances that they are going to class.

I'll take the over on those in bold

WSU. 4.5? Comeon. Totally take the over. They aren't Rose Bowl material yet. But Leach has had them improving every year. They went bowling last year and baring some injury apocalypse, they should be back to a bowl in 2014.

Stanford has question marks because they graduated many and lost a ton of talent to the NFL. But 8+ wins for them in 2014 = very doable.

I have to be honest, if the O-Line (the massive 2012 recruiting class) gels I take the over on Stanford, but if they have not gelled by the time they play SC and the Domers I think it may be the under. The even year road schedule for the Cardinal is just too brutal. I mean come on, @UW, @Ducks, @ND, @ASU, @UCLA? Top that off with the USC game being played before the students are back, eliminating what little home field advantage there is in Stanford Stadium? It could be brutal.

I am taking 10 as my number though. I have faith in Shaw and co. I will not, however, cry, if they end with 8-9 wins with that schedule.

As an aside I may actually make it to my reunion this year for the game against Wallace's castor canadensis'.

Report: Pac-12 tops in conference revenue and Scott highest-paid commish

The Big Ten and SEC may still have the edge when it comes to football revenue, but the Pac-12 has managed to crack the top spot in overall college sports revenue.

According to a report by USA Today, the Pac-12 reported $334 million in total revenue for the most recent fiscal year. That total topped the Big Ten by roughly $15.5 million and the SEC by $19.5 million. Not that anybody should feel sorry for the Big Ten or SEC, of course, and individual conference members will be just fine. The Pac-12 though is benefitting from the foresight by commissioner Larry Scott, who was hired just for this reason.

This represents a $158.1 million increase in revenue over what the conference reported for the 2011-12 fiscal year and a more than tripling of the $111.8 millon that the Pac-12 reported for 2010-11

One of the biggest pushes for the Pac-12′s revenue increase came from new media rights deals with ESPN and FOX, although the conference has voiced some unsettling opinions on the relationship with FOX, and the introduction of the Pac-12 Networks. Much like the Big Ten has benefitted from the Big Ten Network and the SEC anticipates cashing in on the introduction of the SEC Network later this summer, the Pac-12 saw the fiscal advantage of owning and operating a conference-branded network.

In addition to the rise in conference revenue, the Pac-12 also made Scott the highest-paid conference commissioner in college sports by paying Scott just over $3.3 million. That means Scott saw a raise of about $200,000 from 2011.

FIGHT ON!!

Ahhh shit...Trojanz 1-0 in the weekend series TF12...nicely done.

With washington losing last night as well, I'm pretty sure the Beavers win the Pac 12 baseball Championship by default no matter what happens in our series down in your neck of the woods. Win today and I am once again flying the Trojan colors of lore by din-din time tonight.

Looks like ya gotz me number again...WTF?

...and of course I'll have to have an avi bet wif ya come Sept. 27th as well...I can't win shit against ya. The "kizz-o-death" playing gambie with you.

To be fair, this series is MUCH more important for USC than it is for your Beavs. The Beavs are going to the post season no matter what. I think USC needs a sweep of the series to even have a shot at the playoffs.
