With San Fran's stadium comes in, it sets up a perfect scenario where they rotate it every year between Seattle, Denver, Santa Clara and Glendale.

Unless it's one of the NW schools against USC there is no way it will ever sell out in Santa Clara every year. Vegas is ideal because of how inexpensive it is plus there is actually stuff to do as a fan but money talks alot more than having actually fans of the schools attend the game.

from the airport maybe, but not from anywhere you'd want to stay to get a real taste of san fran. it's akin to saying baton rouge is the same as new orleans....

My parents came and visited me a few years back, in San Jose. They drove up to San Fran multiple days to visit and see the sites.

Not a big deal at all. And hell, if you want you can just stay in San Fran and Drive or BART over to the game.

You make it out like it's some big huge journey between the two, but they are like right there together. If someone is going to travel to the area and wants San Fran but they think San Jose is too far away, then they messed up in the head.

Personally, I'd rather stay in San Jose anyway unless there was something specific going on in the city.

It's easy to ride the train into the city but that doesn't change the fact they're basically making it a home game for Cal or Stanford. It's fucking dumb

This is probably the best way to ensure the game doesn't get sold out.

But even if it is a home game neither of those teams fans would sell it out. Stanford and Cal don't have fans which is exactly why they got left out of the Rose Bowl that year Aaron Rodgers players for them. Texas fans travel better to California than Cal fans do.

A fixed spot in my opinion is a bad idea for the game. If it's an every 4 year type thing then just random fans would show up at the games. I remember the Seattle bowl, I think it was Georgia Tech and Stanford or something but it was a sell out because all of the UW and WSU fans.

Most people in the bay area are fans of other teams.

I think a neutral site is a great idea personally.

If the Pac12 can't sell out a stadium for it's CCG anywhere on the west coast, then LOL. But I think there is 0% chance of that happening.

Morning Pacnutz...

Huskies having a good weekend against me Beavs, what a surprise they are in basaballa this year. Today's the "rubber match" and looks like Ben "I can't find my way home in the dark drunk" Wetzler is on the bump for the Beavs. Great pitcher who needs to find his way back, let's start today.

Beaver CBB are looking for a new HC...read yesterday the Beavs are looking at Syracuse's AC. Not a lot of cash is being offered for our new HC, not sure this deal will get done.

Hate the neutral site for a CCG.

Looks like the Beavers only weak game in football comes during week 1 against Portland State, but we all know that first game always seems to be the Beavers weak spot. after that all games fall within Beaver parameters for a decent opponent and Hawaii is never an easy game in the islands to play.

Hate the Huskies for the ass kicking they gave the Beavs at home last year. Sure I'll be reminded of such for years to come.

Look forward to seeing the Beavers finding a running game to go with their potent air attack. We need the balance and ball control thingie going on.

Beavers finish up their Pac12 baseball season next weekend down in your neck of the woods. Probably the "kizz of death" for me Beavs, but how bout an avi play for the 3 game winnah down there?

Just bored and even IF I lose, I always don't mind "flyin" the Trojan of lore avi..1 week standard bet (5 biz days)?

The only time it had a CCG feel to it was when it was Oregon. Stanford was pathetic. The ASU game felt empty but apparently had 66k there? Must have all left early.

It was a strange vibe @ Autzen. Cool, but strange. All the Duck logos and fight signs were covered by PAC 12 logos.

They moved me a section over from the seat that I sat in forever. My season ticket wasn't good enough to keep me in my own darned seat.

Should have kept the incentive for a team with the best record for the year, what the hell is Scott's thinking here?

Just because Stanford and ASU can't sellout their home venues doesn't mean the rest of the Pac can't. Not to mention students for the most part won't be part of the vibe due to the time of year and travel expenses these days...guess the rich win out again with this decision.

Horrible call here.

But hey...the Beavers always have travelled well to the Bay Area and the couch aint a bad spot to watch the event from either.

Haha, set myself up for that one. But doesn't change the fact that the only way it sells out is if it one of the NW schools against SC. Possibly ASU but no other fan base travels. Stanford couldn't sell out a freaking home game. Cal and Stanford don't have fans so it wouldn't be a home game just a shorter bus drive for the players.

The Stanford game along with the basketball tournament in LA was an embarrassment to the league but it doesn't seem to matter. The 4 year plan was the best in my mind or work with UNLV and get them to add some seats. Like I said in the other one they need to make the games more fan friendly to actually build a Pac-12 fan base. I know we will never be like the SEC and cheer for our hated rivals or have Colorado or Cal pretending they won the championship because another teams success but having interest is something the conference needs.

But hey every SEC venue is a home game cause they can hook up their single wides and park in the parking lot.:laugh3:

So much hate toward the dawgs for things your own teams had in their control in the first place. Just stop losing to us and there is no reason to hate. :laugh3:

Seriously, if my understanding is correct the winner of today's baseball game takes over first place in the Pac and has the advantage going into the final games to win the conference? You know I don't follow it so maybe that's wrong, but if that's the case I know how important baseball is to you so for your sake I hope your team wins. Since it means nothing to us it might as well go your way so you can enjoy it. Good luck in the home stretch.
