^ have not, how's it taste after a 160 years?
I hope you had your sarcasm font on and I just couldn't tell
I think they look sick. That sand paper texture looks like it could hurt while getting tackled. Not sure about that part of it.
He wasn't just saying the south, he was saying the whole conference. I think he believes the conference champs will be in the south this year.
Shaddup Duck. We got 3 base uniforms. You sport a new one every week. Your uniform
trophy case is bigger than your bowl trophy case. Sad.
In Hawaii, ( Maui to be specific) your driving on a highway down there and its posted 35 or 45 in certain spots. Now it's not like there is a scenic spot or anything but that is there speed limit...
I would contribute more if I had more to add, but much of my material requires people to link to articles, and I have noticed a lack of interest in that on this board.
Here's the deal.........
Do your cardio after you work out or first thing in the morning before you eat because blood sugar levels are fundamental in metabolizing fat or catabolizing muscle. You need those sugar levels high to lift and low to fat burn. If you try to lift after doing cardio you will catabolize muscle. If you try cardio with high glycogen levels you will spend most of your 'cardio' time just expending your blood sugar levels and get very limited results burning fat stores.
Now, here is where I find most of the confusion coming from. Most often when people go to work out they confuse their warm-up with their cardio time and end up doing their cardio time first and then hit the weights.
This is ass backwards because you expel all your glycogen levels on cardio and really get no metabolic fat burning results and now have no blood sugar levels required to lift. (This will cause you to lose muscle). You really need your glycogen stores to lift. Once you expel them by lifting, then you can do your cardio and your body has no choice but to use your fat stores. (You will also spend less cardio time and get much better fat loss results)
Also, if you are doing the exercise bike or some other cardio machine, stay away from the 'hills' or 'climbing levels'. (Those are for all the people who don't lift) Find a level that gives you some resistance because all you really need is a high intensity effort to get your heart rate up. (Kind of like running as fast as you can for as long as you can) With no blood sugar levles, believe me, if wont be far however the intensity will maximized. This will tax your 'endurance levels' quickly, which plays a fundamental role in reducing fat stores yet limits muscle catabolism.
Again, make sure to warm up before lifting and I always recommend stretching too (This will prevent those lifting injuries). I hope this helped out because health wise, cardio is far better for you then lifting would ever be in most cases.
That sounds pretty damn cool Buddha, though if we bring SF234 and Mikey they might make us work out the next day after a good night of drinking, personally I wouldn't want to sleep it off or or check out eye candy poolside...
Gross. Gimmicky. Tacky.
It's football not a fashion show.
Those should all sound familiar to UDud's hypocritical fans
ya, they aren't game experienced. But that really has never been a problem for the Ducks. They turn over players all the time and have the next guy up ready to go so you never even knew they were gone.
Happens with RBs and WRs. And even QBs. But we all can recognize the Ducks have never had anything like Mariota.
No team in the country gets close to the Ducks in number of reps in practice. So the guys are ready.
Brown, C Allen, D Allen, Stanford, Lowe, Kelly all will be in the mix @ WR.
We'll they will be one of the favorites for sure. Their schedule is pretty doable. Ducks, Furd, Zona and USC all at the Rose Bowl this year. Texas, Washington, and ASU on the road. Two bye weeks. I'd say their odds are pretty good at getting to the PAC champ game. Winning it vs. the PAC north champ will be another story. But UCLA could really take it to the next level this year.
UCLA will be fine on offense, but they have a question mark on defense. They lost some guys there, including Barr and Zumwalt who were the heart and soul of their defense.
If they can effectively replace those 2, they have a great chance of winning the PAC and making the playoff. If not, they could fall to 3rd or 4th in the South depending on how USC, and the Arizona schools do.
UCLA returns a ton on offense and defense ( the most of any pac 12 team I think I read ) they will be tough this year.
Mora has been recruiting lights out since he's arrived, plus Hundley is back. Their roster is really starting to look scary.
USC will be dealing with an entirely new coaching crew and still razor thin at depth for most positions. The Zona schools have been recruiting well and Zona pulled Nike U.'s pants down last year. They are moving in the right direction.
I do think right now, UCLA is the fav from the south for 2014. Hundley and that deep corps of receivers he's got is going to do a lot of damage.
