Speaking of TE stocks I feel like ASJ is now dropping like it's hot.

Measured at only 6'5. Didn't run a 40. Also said to the Seattle Times it was his weight that effected his season with UW.

At one point I thought he was a lock to go in the first round, but I now think he could fall to the mid 2nd.

t was also due, in part, because he gained weight to prepare for the shift in offense. He said he mistakenly believed he needed to be bigger to handle the greater blocking responsibilities. He eventually weighed more than 280 pounds. Seferian-Jenkins, who officially measured 6 feet 5½, weighed 262 pounds Thursday, having slimmed down during workouts with a training group in Phoenix.

That is a pathetic excuse. The Huskies change to a no huddle/spread offense and he thinks he needs to bulk up? Bullshit. He showed up out of shape and is now blaming it on a misunderstanding. He only now slimmed down because he wants to be in the best shape for the draft.

ASJ comes with character concerns and him admitting that he weighed too much now adds work ethic to those concerns. He is going to need to have an impressive pro day to compensate for this. He has all the skills you look for, but I'm starting to wonder if he has the speed/agility to play in the NFL and get open against NFL linebackers.

I don't see it that way at all. His blocking was great last year and he isn't the only one who attributed his work with that on his added weight. He admitted that his trimming down is best for his use in routes and a weapon overall in the passing game. This notion that he didn't work hard last year and that's why he had the weight is something a select few in the media are making up, but that's nothing new.

Was he behind much of the season? Well yes. He missed all of spring where they implemented the uptempo stuff and had little time on it in fall then sat out the opening game. He obviously didn't adjust well to the added weight, but if you listened to Sark he was doing exactly what they asked him to do.

Is his stock falling? I don't know, sounds like it, but he isn't the first to have things blown out of proportion and likely won't be the last. He has the makings of a top flight TE in the league and I have no doubt he will work his ass off and make it as a starter at the next level.

And for the record I said I wanted him thrown off the team for his DUI that lead to him crashing his car and putting his head into his windshield hard enough to crack it. Still, those trying to compare him to Stevens are entirely off base. The kid made one mistake and has done nothing but do everything he can to make up for it since. Some of these guys like Stevens and Lyerla have had multiple issues and lots of warning signs. There is no such thing with Jenkins.

After watching the TE's yesterday and Jenkins not taken part, there is some very good TE's in this class, he needs to hit it out of the park on his pro day cause I believe some guys moved way up yesterday and if he want's to be picked in that second round he needs to work..

I wouldn't compare him to Jerramy Stevens at all. His blocking was great last year, but I do feel like he didn't need to add on the extra 20 pounds to do that.

I would say his stock is falling though. Before the season, I felt he had the talent of a top 10 pick. Now I'd say he could fall to the mid second round depending on his pro day. He was also measured shorter than expected. I believed he was 6'6 to 6'7 and he was measured at 6'5 at the combine.

Just googled his name and found out that he is out 6 to 8 weeks. That will also hurt him. He has the skillset to be a great player at the NFL level, but his stock is falling. He is definitely out of the first round now.

40 times for PAC-12 runningbacks:
1T. Bishop Sankey: 4.49
1T. Tyler Gaffney: 4.49
3. De'Anthony Thomas: 4.50
4. Silas Redd: 4.70
5. Ka'Deem Carey: 4.70
6. Ryan Hewitt: 4.87

I've got to say I'm stunned by Silas Redd and Ka'Deem Carey both running 4.70s. I expected the two of them to be clocked in the low 4.5 range.

PAC-12 WR 40 times:
1. Brandin Cooks: 4.33 (#1 40 time for WRs)
2. Paul Richardson: 4.40
3T. Josh Huff: 4.51
3T. Shaq Evans: 4.51
5. Marquise Lee: 4.52

Surprised to see Marquise Lee run a 4.52, he looks a lot faster on film. With pads on he has game breaking speed after the catch.

Pete Carroll's reaction to Lee's 40 time:

I have to say I thought his 40 had not been posted yet when I didn't see him up near the top. The guy is so explosive in game I expected something in the low 4.4 range, maybe even in the upper 4.3.

Hey not to be a dick, but you might want to get the times off the NFL site, (it's actually the official time) other posted times might be a guy sitting in a certain section with not the quickest finger action...:suds:

The time that Mamba mentions is his unofficial time, not the official time which is what everyone goes by. Both were listed in that link. Bottom line is DAT's official time was indeed 4.50 which was disappointing I'm sure for Oregon fans.

Also of note:

Bishop Sankey posted an impressive 26 reps on the bench press.

He produced at the combines and he will be moving up some boards, Im happy for him, the kid is a class act I want him to have a great NFL career.....

As long as he doesn't end up in Dallas, Wash, or on the Gmen....

Clayton now saying Sankey could moving into 1st round with his combine performance. That he came in amazing shape and everyone impressed. That he's completely jumped Ka'Deem Carey with this performance.

26 reps on the bench. Faster than DAT!

Woof!!!!

No. He isn't coming back. We gave him a dozen passes. This shit was routine. The alt acct was just a reason to make the permanent ban stick.
