They definitely need to step up the investment. That $100m didn't even get you to the CCG, never mind the NCG.

No just keeping them a top 10 program and recruiting is getting stronger - will punch it through soon. Be patient it's only been 6 mos since the best football only facility was completed.

Amazing what starts happening to that status when a school located in Eugene, OR can't cut 25k checks to street agents anymore. Lesson learned. If they expect to compete for NCs, they need to go the SEC route who are experts at purchasing those recruiting classes. Use independent bag men, instead of right out the schools traceable funds. Uncle Phil should of know better given his business dealings. Talk about amateur hour.

Thanks for the compliment on the new Husky stadium and football operations center. We're very proud our facilities are #1 on the west coast.

Your fellow Husky fan doesn't like it he thinks they spent too much money. I think your stadium is bad ass. Now just put a product in it.

Holy Smokes. Brandin Cooks won the Biletnikoff award.

PAC!!! PAC!!! PAC!!!

Well deserved. Graham said he was the best player ASU faced all season and I might have to agree with him.

Oh and got 2 RB tickets today for pops and I. Having former players as close friends has its advantages. Wish the rugby team had this kind of hookup. I would be set on tickets for life. Look for the fat kid old guy with a shaved head and an Angry Nerd shirt on the jumbotron.

If you were there for the JD/MBA program I could see that. I know that Stanford kids can out drink AZ kids. Why, pent up nerds need to blow off steam, and when they do look out. That said the partying is less consistent than at other schools, that is for sure. School spirit is spread around among many more sports, people actually go to games for most of the sports. Ugliest????? well actually you may have a point outside of the athletes, this is why I dated swimmers, gymnasts and soccer players while there.

Out of curiosity, when were you there for the JD/MBA program?

I'm surprised that a Stanford educated educator can make such a statement. Although I would accept it on its face, how would you even attempt to support that statement if you had too? Speaks to your credibility in other matters, no? I'll give you the ugliest girl claim on your judgment however.

Says the ASU fan whose window just got slammed shut in the CCG. Good luck in the South, you will most likely never sniff a CCG game again, let alone play one at home. Nice try *SU.

I can see why you are taking shots at Oregon, with UCLA on the rise and USC coming off sanctions, and your coach probably bolting in a year or two, you are scurred. Its ok, you still have hot women, although you are old enough to be their G-pa. Its ok though, they are legal.

Who has the #1 recruiting class in the conference right now :noidea:

I love the *SU. It's not like that game mattered at all in the long run anyway.

Congratulations to Brandin Cooks!

That is awesome.

Andre Williams... East Coast Bias. Nah, but he did have a good year. All 3 were deserving. 2000+ yards is tough to look past.

They base their numbers on points per recruit. It will change when everyone has as many recruits verbaled.

More accurate barometer is to look at avg star rating.

This is what Scout.com has right now, and we still have a way to go. Most of the big boys wait to commit.

Not sure where you are getting your rankings from, but OK. We are far from signing day, lots of movement to be expected.

Scout.com has Oregon #17 and ASU not in the top 25. That school to the North is at 13. UCLA is #3

Those are from last year. The one I checked was rivals. Scout right now actually has our school to the south as #1 in the conference at 13 and ASU at 20 with 7 less commits than them.

I do agree these rankings mean nothing until signing day but even if ASU doesn't sign another player this is a better class than anything Erickson or Koetter ever got.
