So basically this week the conference traded Kiffin for Petersen. Upgrade?

The last 4-5 years have seen a number of coaching changes across the conference with quite a few upgrades. This latest chapter appears to again be a move forward in the Pac12 arms race.

Watch out SEC, your days of running all willy nilly over the rest of the conferences are coming to a close.

Are they (SEC) warmin up the lil' yellow school buses and travelin to play top notch PAC teams on the road again?

With NIU layin an egg in the MAC Champ game tonite and kizzin 8 mil towards their conference down the drain...it L@@KS like the PAC maybe the benificiary of another blessing in disguise as another PAYOUT to the conference looms large!

5 years - 3.6 mil a year. Makes him the highest paid coach in the PAC currently.

Let the ducklings even try to shit on our corn flakes. Can't happen. If you aren't doing fucking back flips you aren't paying attention. This was the best possible hire they could have had save for some crazy existing big name D1 coach that would have wanted to come here for some reason.

Shit just got real up in the Pac my brothers. Love us or hate us UW just made things interesting. Sark should be able to bring USC back up to a winning program in a few years and unless Petersen just can't recruit for some reason UW just beefed up the North more.

Going to be a real run to overtaking the SEC for number 1 conference. At the very least they should solidify #2 easily with no question.

If helfrich can turn things around and put up a couple of solid years he will get an extension and raise and I'd bet it would be up there near, if not past, Petersen. They just aren't going to give big money to an unproven coordinator.

You do realize that the moment Sark bailed for USC our bowl game this year became nearly unimportant right? The key for that bowl was to get to 9 wins and keep Sark moving forward. Now we have most of our coaches gone and our young QB coach leading the team over the bowl. It just isn't the same.

If Oregon could face Bama I'd be in for it because we wouldn't have to see those stupid shirts next year after the totally embarrassed the duckies.

I'd still like to see a Tui led Wash team win it's bowl. For the seniors who deserve it. For any extra hardware for the trophy case. For Husky Pride. To rep the PAC. Plenty to play for.
