Nope, just got a text from a buddy up there. He knows shit.

Was asking why Saban was up there because I didnt believe IB that he was in Seattle.

He said yes, Saban is there but the reason is because he is meeting with Nuss who has been there since last night.

Can be 1 of a few things things all tied to Nuss taking UW job.

1. Congratulating him on the job (most likely)

2. Trying to persuade him into going to Texas as the OC with Saban. (unlikely)

3. Talking him to interviewing for Bama job as he is taking Texas job. (least likely)

4. Trying to talk Nuss out of taking UW job to stay with Saban at Bama (very likely)

Which makes it an educated guess doesn't it?

He's taking our LB coach as well. Reports today that Peter Sirmon has accepted job with Sark at USC for same role.

Gary Pinkel had a radio interview this morning and said he plans to stay at Missouri no matter what right now.

UW reportedly interviewing Doug Nussmeier today and Chris Peterson tomorrow. Some are mentioning their is a 3rd candidate whose name isn't being mentioned right now.

Yeah, there are rumors that a big name coach is in the mix, but no one is producing a name. Rumors are always fun, but I'd just hold on and see what Woodward does. We had no clue it was Sark last time so maybe he pulls some kind of unexpected rabbit out of his hat this time as well.

Sirmon and Wilcox were a packaged deal. Both came to us at the same time. Like a precursor to Wilcox also heading to USC.

Wilcox and him have been working together for awhile now. They were at Tennessee for awhile till UW called and came as a package deal. Sirmon has done great work with the LBs so sad to see him go. I suspect it's going to be a total wipeout of our D coaches by Sark with Tosh and Wilcox being asked to join him as well. Might as well keep the band together and fuck us as hard as he can in the process. Sounds like we might have to rent some out of work defense guys just to help with the bowl at this rate.

Tennessee.... hmmm. Thats ironic, that is where Sirmon played most of his NFL career.
