Ducks best chance for a BCS @ large at this point is for Bowling Green to beat Northern Illinois.:L

THis is what has come to..... THe MAC CG.....:laugh3:

Oh I love you CFB.

ANd hey, next time we get ready to crown someones ass lets remember this.

THe SEC title game will be played by teams that had 2-14 record in that conference (SEC) last season.

Nobody knows shit about what is going to happen.

Nobody in the world had Mizzou vs Barner in the SEC title game and there it is.

Any chance a PAC 12 team gets a BCS at large bid this year?

I think it's a possibility but don't see it happening. The Orange has some leeway but as has been pointed out theres no way they don't take Clemson. I agree with the thought behind that.

The Sugar chose a #14 Michigan in 2011. I have yet to figure that one out.

So I think the possibility exists, but the probability is almost non existent.

If the bowls were interested in getting the best teams in, yes, there would be a chance for a Pac 12 at large. That is secondary though.

We had a higher BCS ranking last week and beat our rival by a bigger margin than you did (who beat you). ASU gets the bid if BG wins IMO.

BG has been playing lights out D the last 4 or so games against decent middie competition. Other than that Miami team not in FL they all have winning records.

This has been a year for the bizarre to happen.

You're forgetting one scenario though. Sparty wins. Then tOSU will get that bid. :suds:

Sorry, it isnt fair because your team is playing much better. But if you lose in the PAC CG the team wont be ranked in top 14 in BCS and that is a requirement.

They will fall 3-5 spots at least putting them out of top 14.

That ND game killed yall.

Losers of the CCGs get screwed that way every year and in every conference. Ask the SEC bout that.

1 loss UGA loses to Bama,UGA beat FLA earlier in the year, FLA has one loss, UGA has two even though one was the CCG. FLA gets Sugar.

Dont think it matters in ASU's case. I think they handle Stanford easily. I know I am in the minority but ASU wins that game and it wont be an issue IMO.

ASU is playing top 5 football right now. No way they lose this CCG in Tempe.

ASU probably has better credentials, but is a long shot to receive an at large since it implies they'll have 3 losses and the perception is that Oregon's fanbase is more likely to show up.

ASU might still be top 14 with a loss though. I just don't think they get picked. Even incremental gains in the human polls will shoot them up temporarily due to computer strength.

Well, we're just going to have to beat Stanford then. Fear the Devil.

Thought this was a Pac 12 thread? You trolling?

How is it trolling to share an opinion about a Pac12 related topic on the Pac12 board? :noidea:

I have zero problems with any non Pac fan posting here as long as it is related to something Pac12.

From what I've seen of 4D20 he is quite easy to get rustled, but he doesn't ever outright troll. I don't agree with everything he believes but I respect his consistency and his ability to have rational discussions even on topics he is passionate about. He does have a bit of a dry sense of humor, but if you don't take him too seriously you can easily see it and some of his image posts are hilarious.

Hell, even Doc has added some decent posts to this board.

We need some of that input from the outside looking in. Adds to the discussion I say.

They get a bid... And I believe that bid would be the Orange. The Orange would select a one loss tOSU over Clemson.

And the Fiesta would take Oregon over Clemson. I have thought this all the way through.
