Good to FINALLY see Vaz get in his first game this season. It took Mannion throwing 3 more INTs as well as the offense sputtering through 3 3/4 of the game. With only half of the 4th qtr left, Vaz threw more pin-point passes than Mannion could dream of to move the Beavs down into the endzone for 3 TDs. I know it was garbage time, but garbage time started a long time before Vaz was finally put in and Mannion was throwing pick 6s in that same garbage time. The ONLY chance I see of a miracle upset in the CWG is to bench Mannion, spend the entire week with Vaz going over a streamlined offensive playbook, and kick that whole starting defense in the butt to fire them up. The coaches had better go find a QB for next yr fast and start grooming him to start next season or the Beavs are going to be going down in flames behind "Coach Mannion's" son again.

PAC12's Ka'Deem Carey and Bishop Sankey named Doak Walker award finalists. Both headed to Orlando on Dec 12th for the CFB award ceremony broadcast on ESPN.

Andre Williams from Boston College is the other finalist.

ASJ has also been named a John Mackey award finalist for the 2nd year. Eric Ebron from NC and Nick O'leary from FSU. Off to Orlando as well.

Ruh roh. Lots of chatter out of Oregon sports radio today that Riley's seat is a 5 alarm fire right now. Would be sad to see that happen like that. Riley is one of the PAC coaches I respect the most. Hopefully, it's just hot air from their fans.

Ruh roh. Lots of chatter out of Oregon sports radio today that Riley's seat is a 5 alarm fire right now. Would be sad to see that happen like that. Riley is one of the PAC coaches I respect the most. Hopefully, it's just hot air from their fans.

Riley is my favorite coach in the Pac as well, but times change. Oregon State had a worse than expected year two seasons ago, played a hell of a season last year, and follow it up with another down turn after a weak start and a winning streak.

There is a lot of change in the Pac and in college football in general and I'm sure there are questions about if the game is passing him by. Is the old Coryell offensive philosophy current enough with what is going on around the conference? Seems power or hurry up is what is working right now.

If not Riley then they at least need to find some defense again. Maybe they need a shake up on that side of the ball? I don't know, but I don't think I have ever felt more embarrassed for a Pac team after we played them maybe in my life. I mean UW scored another 35 points after they stopped passing the ball at all and most of it was with the second and third stringers. I've never seen a team with worse tackling and I've had to watch Colorado and Cal the last couple of seasons.

If I was a beaver fan I'd be pissed and looking for heads to roll as well. Hard to tell if any of those voices are shared in the AD's office or not. I'm sure a good showing in the civil war would go a long way to simmering those voices down.

I was actually more like 80% CBS and 20% ESPN. I used to be on there a lot more in the past. used to do Fox sports but their boards are horrible. and still frequent Bleach Report despite their unfair treatment.
