Former army here, ex union iron worker and current (laid off) oil patch worker (pipeline maintenance). Nothing beats working in -60F.

We might have rain for the Cal game. I don't know enough about Cal to say its good or bad for them. If Browne was still the QB it wouldn't be good for SC but Darnold looks like a mudder so I don't think it will affect SC too much.

Look up seat(geek) . I have gotten for tickets for pretty much anything there , a few times minutes before game time.

Cell phone. It's the wind that sucks. -40 isn't that bad if you're moving but once the wind picks up it gets cold. There's no trees up there (Alaska North Slope / Prudhoe Bay) ... just a lot of flat nothing.

Oh ok. Did you happen to see any of that Notre Dame NC State game played during that hurricane? Brian Kelly had his QB pass 35 times. No wonder they want him gone.

It's going to start railing tomorrow and continue still sat night but it doesn't look like a huge amount of rain. I did cancel installations for tomorrow and friday. I'm going to the Cal game so hopefully its just cloudy and cold. When it rains in the bay area it take about a day and a half to get to us.
