I went to the Hawaii vs BYU game more than a few years back. (It was the mid 80's)

Saw nothing of the sort. We were guests of the BYU alumni. They were both true to form and a great bunch of folks!

The Mormon thing is more relatable to BYU. That's not to say there aren't Mormon Utah fans but typically non Mormons tend to be Ute fans.
