I'm sure that was a major reason he choose our school. As much history as there is here and as much as the setting of that stadium and facilities help attract kids here, the media is pretty tame in this market. He's annoyed by them and often kind of crass. He minces no words that pressers and interviews are his least favorite part. And our media is more than content to let him get away with avoiding them if he keeps winning.

He's not going to change with that stuff. We've learned to live with it the same as Boise fans did. Just do your talking on the football field. That's all we ask.

Nowhere did anyone say that or imply that.

The point was, you were not alone in your concerns however I do think you were in the minority.

My bad then. I interpreted it wrong. I'm still curious to see how Petersen does vs teams with winning records. Saturday's game vs Utah will be a biggy.

UW should roll Utah shouldn't they? I've seen Utah play a couple of times, defensively they looked good but offensively they look very weak. Stanford esque in that there is zero threat Williams can beat you..am I missing something on them?

You must be talking about Troy Williams QB and not Joe Williams RB.

After sitting out the previous four games prior to the last two, Joe Williams has rushed for 511 yards and 5 TD's on 64 carries for nearly an 8 YPC average.

Trust me, he is a threat, a threat that SC, Cal and Arizona didn't have to face.

I think most of us pretty much agree with you. I know it can be tough to go to Utah, but I feel pretty good about it based on what I've seen.
