COOL! So you now do not consider an 8 win season a down year. That's going to help you cope with your new reality a lot more.Your program was down in 2015?? It was the best year since 2000.

Agreed anytime you can take a yacht to tailgate is pretty awesome. But as the article states, Atmosphere tailgating, noise level, setting etc... was all compiled and the panel chose Autzen as best venue in the PAC. Obviously if UW puts a few more special years together like this year the panel may think otherwise. Either way UO & UW are #1 & #2.The school is careful to call it "The greatest setting in college football" Nowhere does that imply the largest. It is simply about the view and overall setting.
It isn't in the top in terms of numbers of butts in seats, but the roof and having 80% of the seats between the goal lines make it the loudest on the field when full. It has been registered as such. But of course, it MUST be full for that to happen and outside of last week that hasn't happened since the opening day of the new stadium.
Shit - I would love an 8 win season!!!!!COOL! So you now do not consider an 8 win season a down year. That's going to help you cope with your new reality a lot more.
Last year you could see and feel the program turning the corner - fans should have been all over it. Especially in a city of over 2M and the size of the University.Yes, 8 wins is a down year and it doesn't matter how many years it's been since you had more. We have gone over this, but this was the worst last 15 years in program history. Anyone our age will NEVER accept single digit wins. We just won't. Can't. Shouldn't.
That was LAST YEAR sport. You've had one sell out this year and that crowd didn't have a chance to be loud. THIS YEAR if you asked them again they'd all change their vote. Neuheisl, who was listed as a source in that, has said exactly that.Agreed anytime you can take a yacht to tailgate is pretty awesome. As I said, go read the piece in the paper about why the sales are down. It's how they changed the ticket pricing system, not fan disloyalty. We still packed the old stadium right up until it was torn down despite having a shit product. Overall attendance has been down just since the new stadium. That entirely eliminates anything because caused by the fans. I'll link you the article if you like.Last year you could see and feel the program turning the corner - fans should have been all over it. Word on the street is the UW game last weekend was your first sellout of the year...You can't even sell out your stadium

- UCLA: 66,858
- Washington: 61,919
- Oregon: 57,631
- Arizona State: 52,712
- Arizona: 51,393
- Stanford: 49,917
- Utah: 46,533
- Colorado: 39,389
- Oregon State: 36,079

I just asked them - they said nope not yet need to see more juu juu in Seattle. That was LAST YEAR sport. You've had one sell out this year and that crowd didn't have a chance to be loud. Yep missed it by a couple hundred against UC Davis and Virginia. 19 years down the drain. 99% of capacity. Far cry from 75% capacity. That's ranking them on attendance %

Shall we compare total attendance between both this year so far? How about we go back and look at total crowd noise and atmosphere so far. Shall we do that? No? Didn't think so.I just asked them - they said nope not yet need to see more juu juu in Seattle.
Or we could compare the ratio of attendance vs number of alumni?Shall we compare total attendance between both this year so far? How about we go back and look at total crowd noise and atmosphere so far. Shall we do that? No? Didn't think so.
No one is denying your good years made that place tougher. Why are you denying that isn't the case this year? It's kind of obvious.
No worries Wiz - have a good weekend off.Looks like they broke that link. I'll see if I can get it fixed.
Meh, I guess it's working.
It was 10-10 hour 2 so if it's the wrong one I apologize.
Don't stop me. I'm listening to that radio replay again. No worries Wiz - have a good weekend off.
I was at a party with 2 TVs going with the Bama/Ark game and ours. Once it was 21-0 the blow out was on so I mingled but kept one eye on the tv. For a Husky fan that had to be damn hilarious to watch the Duck fans squirm. So awesome to hear the duck fans on D trying to be loud and then hear our fans after TD after TD after TD. That was pretty damned cool.
