I didn't watch the FUCLA game, anyone why they are saying Rosen might be out?
He's been getting banged up. Had to leave the last game and go to the locker room. he came back out and played and got thumped and that might have knocked him out for the next game. not sure about the specific injury but looked like something withhis leg.

Husky Stadium seats over 72,000 capacity and is 3rd in the conference year after year in attendance behind USC and UCLA.

Autzen seats how many?

Like I said I didn't watch it, but reports are we playing FUCLA and Rosen might not play so figures it was a concussion, which by the way I don't know how Falk is allowed to play after that hit. If he is not the number 1 pick he needs to go the UFC. He has the quickest revocery from getting KTFO I've ever seen.

No one is debating the size. Washington is a much bigger University in a major city. I would think you would be pissed you can't sell it out.

Valuable? How could they even measure that for a college team? It'snot like someones selling college football teams. Didnt Phil put in tons of cash and facilities at Oregon?
Phil dropped a bundle on Oregon football but so did Washington boosters not to mention Oregon has a MWC sized stadium located in an I-5 pit stop with a micro sized media market. Oregon also pays its coaching staff little to nothing compared to Washington. Coach Petersen is the 2nd highest paid coach in the conference next to David Shaw. Don Pellum the former Oregon DC was paid a whopping $400,000 as Oregon's DC last season. That's peanuts.

I'd be pissed if Washington had a MWC sized stadium built on top of a former public landfill such as Autzen.

Fuck you all with stadiums sizes, you are just compensating. Real men don't care about the size of their stadium. It's about motion of the crowd and our chomp dwarfs you all.

Read this article again - were you pissed when you had a track around your football field - LOL

There is much more than size. I've been to the Big House in Ann Arbor and the atmosphere isn't near what is at Autzen. If size was the case than Husky Stadium isn't even in the top 20 in the country - do you agree with that???

So when our program is down and not selling out they still average 4k/game more than yours with a sell out and you question it? :L

That's not helping you man. It's really not.

As I said earlier today in this very thread they have talked about this in the Seattle Times and the attendance is entirely related to the change they made in ticket pricing and how fans can now just flex into single games instead of being forced into season tickets. The school kind of fucked things up.

There is zero doubt UW has the greatest setting in the Pac and no other is even close. The sound when full is louder than any in the conference. The only reason a few ever picked Oregon's over ours is because of your program having been at the top at that time. Neuheisel has said as much and so have others. ALL of them have said a full husky stadium blows everyone else away. And we saw/heard that in the Stanford game. I'd imagine the rest of the year will be more of the same.

Yours RIGHT NOW won't sell out again this year. The roles have reversed. Yours has probably then fallen to at least middle of the Pac at best.

College football roundtable: Best stadium

PAC-12: Husky Stadium, Washington
A diverse group of cities in the Pac-12 has made for several picturesque options for watching college football on the West Coast. The scenes at Cal, Colorado and Utah are remarkable and the game-day atmosphere at Oregon’s Autzen Stadium is hard to beat, but, with apologies to the Rose Bowl, nothing tops Husky Stadium. Built in 1920, the view looking out onto Lake Washington can’t be beat. The 70,138-seat stadium’s proximity to the lake allows for its own "sailgating" scene, and renovations finished prior to the 2013 season removed the eyesore of a track that helped enhance what was already one of the louder venues in the conference.

Your program was down in 2015?? It was the best year since 2000.

The school is careful to call it "The greatest setting in college football" Nowhere does that imply the largest. It is simply about the view and overall setting.

It isn't in the top in terms of numbers of butts in seats, but the roof and having 80% of the seats between the goal lines make it the loudest on the field when full. It has been registered as such. But of course, it MUST be full for that to happen and outside of last week that hasn't happened since the opening day of the new stadium.
