Even the potential that Shaw might leave could help influence the decision of at least Sarell, if not any of their other recruits sitting on offers to make other choices.

Well the x-factor for Sarell is whatever impact he had from his official visit with Bama at the iron bowl last week. He wasn't expected to be on high on them, but you never know. He can punch his own ticket. Sucks that we have to wait another month to find out either way. Hate these announcements at the Army all-american game.Even a seed of doubt an help if things start to get more even between Stanford and UW

Everyone at ASU is waiting for assistants to start getting fired. Patterson and Thomsen at least need to go. I don't think we've had a new recruit in like half a year.
24/7 is showing him leaning toward UW.Even the potential that Shaw might leave could help influence the decision of at least Sarell, if not any of their other recruits sitting on offers to make other choices.
Depends on who you read/follow/listen to. He has been somewhere between a Stanford and UW lean much of this year. A lot of chatter about more UW lately, but he hasn't made anything public that gives any kind of clue. Won't know until the all american game.24/7 is showing him leaning toward UW.
You had a crap season your coach got fired. The sky is grey at least.
Yup and sometimes it takes a few years to realize you've kept a bad coach around. I didn't realize that after his first season Helfrich has now lost at least four games more each subsequent season . Inheriting Mariota saved him those first two years.Better than having a bad coach and keeping around for a few years.
4th biggest drop in 26 games in NCAA history. Change is obvious, just hope the staff in Eugene knows what the hell they are doing.Yup and sometimes it takes a few years to realize you've kept a bad coach around. I've never seen anything like it. From NCG to cellar two seasons later. I'm guessing he's just not the personality for the athletes you guys get because I don't think it's a lack of football knowledge.
but Mariota covered up a lot of problems.

I just looked him up this morning on 24/7 sports. They have him at 58% UW. It's just their projection, but I'll take it.Orly? A story or tweet?
