I didn't know NSD was today.
Oregon lost a couple of 4* recruits this week (decommitted).
Aw hell it's part of the process with new staff coming in. They'll get a class put together and rebound. Coach Pete had that same issue..
Exactly. As Washington has proved, it's more important to hire the right coach then it is to hire someone to keep a few kids from decommitting. However, that won't stop the alarmists who want to portray the sky as falling.

Exactly, get the "right hire" and everything else will fall into place..
You're lucky if you find that right hire on your first shot. Sometimes you swing and miss a few times ( we sure know that ).
With Oregon it's interesting because they have that identity and so many coaches who have been there who they probably want to keep. So you have to find a coach who will keep or has a similar philosophy as what they have had and is willing to retain a lot of the staff. Usually coaches want to bring in all their own guys who will be loyal to them.
Well let's hope it's not defensive coaches they want to keep cause that whole unit needs to be revamped
Already covered both. Victor went down in that game and his replacement wasn't up to the task. He has gotten up to speed since. And both of the linemen that went down are back healthy.
That means there aren't major adjustments needed.
Either way a rematch isn't happening and I was just answering the question about it. I would like our chances, but that doesn't mean I don't think it would be a tough game.

I'm thinking Stanford would most likely promote from within the current system.well if this happens I wonder what happens with the potential of Taggart to Oregon stuff. or if he would then become Stanford target
possible and probable. depends on his relationship with the school. he is an established head coach who has done well.I'm thinking Stanford would most likely promote from within the current system.
and by done well I mean yes I know he has a losing record but he has brought both Western Kentucky and south florida uppossible and probable. depends on his relationship with the school. he is an established head coach who has done well.
