Sam Darnold starting to show up on some Heisman watch lists. No way he can win he's not known enough and got a late start but if USC can get into the CCG and win and the Rose Bowl he could claw his way into an invite to New York.

At the least, it'll set him up as one of the favorites in next years Heisman race.

Stop hogging all the talent. Didn't your mother teach you sharing? With that being said I think the Huskies need more help on the D side of the ball rather than the offensive side.

Ok but Vince is graduating this year and I franchized Watt. He's a first round draft choice no diggity. Cichy is rated as a second to third round pick in the 2018 draft. Watch his highlights vs OSU. Orr is our other starting MLB but TJ Edwards has played lights out for 2 straight years now. We need one lock down corner after Shelton leaves this year.

He's gonna be a beast next year. he's 6'4" 225 and runs a 4.5 40 and no arm strength issues. Even on the run he can throw a deep ball.

Yup. One commentator described him as Andrew Luck body but plays like Russell Wilson.
If the rams had him right now they would have more wins.
And he's a Redshirt Freshman. So at least a couple more seasons.

That's what I see. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Wilson when he gets to the NFL. But right now, the way he runs more to extend the play rather than get yards with his legs, reminds me a lot of Wilson.

Given they had only won two conference games since joining the PAC I can see why people doubted. But nice pick.

That's what I see. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Wilson when he gets to the NFL. But right now, the way he runs more to extend the play rather than get yards with his legs, reminds me a lot of Wilson.

he's just such a beast for college players. I'm not sure how much of that he could do in the pros because they are bigger and faster but at this level he's the size of big linebackers and faster than some so hes tough to bring down.

Pretty sure I said no chance. Not because I hate Colorado, but because I thought they were still a good year or 2 away.

The watch list is the list of players considered to have the best chance to win. AKA, the favorites. Where he will be on that list or whether he will truly be on it or not, remains to be seen. A players spot on the list determines whether he is THE favorite or not.

Pretty sure I called it out after the Oregon game because they have 56 Juniors and Seniors. How they played Michigan in Ann Arbor and how they won their first couple PAC games it became clear they were a front runner in the south.

Actually if Darnold has a good season next year he could enter the 2018 draft, as he is a red-shirt freshman this year.
