#1 in INT's, top 5 in sacks & top 30 in efficiency. Very mediocre indeed. I'll agree that they give up too much yardage. I think it'll be a good close game, just hoping the Utes can give some payback to the Buffs 5 years later by knocking them out of the PAC-12 title game.

49th in yards given up per game and 38th in points allowed per game. In the last 4 games they have averaged giving up 33 points per game which would put them tied for 101st in college football. I'm a bit more on the what have you done lately side of things and lately that Utah defense has not been great.

Both the Huskies and Buffs, former national champs, have worked hard, long and effectively in returning to their winning ways. I don't think there is a team in CFB that could beat either this weekend.

Both teams are very beatable. The Utah team that showed up against Oregon won't but the Utah team that played UW could beat Colorado. We have the offense to beat UW if we can get Browning flustered like he has shown he can be.

Sam Darnold starting to show up on some Heisman watch lists. No way he can win he's not known enough and got a late start but if USC can get into the CCG and win and the Rose Bowl he could claw his way into an invite to New York.

If those two things happen and these other players ahead of him keep having mediocre outing it's not out of the realm of possibility. not to win obviously but just be invited. he only has to be in the top five or so to be invited. I've seen lists that have him close to that.
