Injuries are piling up for several teams. Utah will be without their star safety and one of their LB's tomorrow leaving them kind of thin in a few key areas of that defense. And we already know about their depth problems at receiver and RB.

What's worse, the Bruins can't run the ball and Mike Fafaul is throwing the ball an incredible amount. (Vs Utah, he threw it ~70 times and completed ~40, both UCLA records)

This puts True Freshman, Devon Modster's Red Shirt year in jeopardy, as he is one play away from having it burned.

CJMjr needs to use in another way or demote Klemm or Mora will be out the door with his offensive line coach. Adrian is a nice piece in recruiting but is challenged in developing the talent he brings in.

As the run game coordinator and offensive line coach AK has failed miserably this year.

I mean, I know too soon and all, especially with a big game this weekend and then going on the road again next week, but looking ahead at the schedule that week, if all goes according to plan, I don't see why not.

Not really. They gave nothing to McCaffrey, and kept Freeman in check (even though he got some yards). I wouldn't be shocked if they gave up some yards on the ground, but I think they'll ultimately keep him from causing much damage.

I'd say even if both stay the course and USC is ranked it still isn't that likely. They are probably interviewing UW coaches/players and doing their stories for this week right now. It's a huge budget for them to travel out west and would be too soon after just covering them. It's different when it's SEC teams. Just wouldn't count on that trip.

The question is how much are they going to run verses pass. Troy is only around 50% completion over his last 4 games and has like two more TD's than int's or something like that. Their coach isn't stupid. They aren't likely to feature the pass and really attack down field. That means a lot more carries than teams we have seen recently. Even if they get down early they might stick with the run.

UW will drop a safety down and trust their man coverage. They have done that against the other running teams. Having our sack leader out for this game is big. Mathis is also a run stopping force. His backup is going to have to play solid ball, but I can't see this kid railing off 300+ on this defense. I really can't.
