As Jeffro said he would leave SportsHoopla and he technically did. I am willing to play Mcnabb at NCAA 16 USC/Washington on the 12th. Other than that clarkson didn't violate the rules within the bet. Someone else did foreman already received a PM of the rule infracxtion. And you got what you wanted anyway there is no more clarkson23devils on Sportshoop.la.

Now I will get back to talking college football while you do your rainbow thing
Don't drag me into this nonsense.

Well clearly I flew to southern Cali, paid off a few of the Trojan players and I banged a couple of the SC cheerleaders,:noidea:

That sounds very similar to a USC recruit visit except your not paying anyone. You get some nice presents sent your way. You should pick Washington instead young man with what Petersen is building, but I can understand your conflicted after at least 2 song girls acted as your "hosts" that weekend. Especially at the same time. That would be a serious commit pitch.

In the matter of the case of the people vs clarkson23devils AKA therobotdevil the prosecution offers up the following:

The case that we have a weasel is clear and compelling. There is no room for debate here. A bet was voluntarily entered into by two parties and was clearly laid out. The defendant made sure the bet was valid and that neither side could weasel out of it by bringing in Fordman to enforce a lifetime ban based on the outcome of the UW/USC game to be played on November 12th.

1. On Oct 8th in the Oregon/UW game thread and across a couple of others threads on this site clark admitted to having thoughts about just not honoring this bet claiming the site needed him too much for the work he does doing gif's for posters. He claimed he needed to back out for the greater good of the site. This is documented.

2. He is now claiming that McNabb himself agreed to end this bet by posting a screenshot of him saying "
It was called off saturday night by needledick, and no I'm not gonna link it, you go find it.....
There was plenty of witnesses that read his backing out!" where he now claims that is proof McNabb has absolved him. Note the last sentence where it says there were witnesses to his backing out. The reason clark put up a screenshot instead of a quote or link is it takes only a few seconds to find the post before that one in the same thread where he clearly says:
Nope a bet is a bet, and that turd is on record!

Bet is on!
Leaving no doubt whatsoever as to what that later statement meant. The fact it was a screenshot shows intent to deceive and is quite damning.

3. The next claim is there was outside tampering and that he has sent direct proof of this to the appropriate party. He did say Fordmans name directly. This one is easy to put to bed if he can get Fordman to come out and say there are indeed circumstances that warrant a removal of this bet. Until that time it is just more clark BS. We can claim this because of the rest of the nonsense he is claiming. If you are shown to be a liar in one area, you can be assumed to be a liar everywhere until proven otherwise.

4. This one should already get him banned just for attempting it. He is now claiming that because there were no words saying he didn't mean this ban was to be the result of he and McNabb playing a video game on that date that it must therefor be allowed to be altered now to include that. This is outrageous and an egregious abuse of betting terms on this site in general. He offered up the situation between jeffro and handi as a related case that gave him that claim. Jeffro said he would leave the site if handi could prove he can create new threads and then after handi did make one he claimed he never said it was for good. Clearly that's punk ass bullshit and we all told handi he should bash the crap out of him over it. However, in that case they did not put things in terms as strongly as this bet. There was no call to an admin to enforce it. Because Clark himself brought Fordman into this thing and actually said there are no loopholes and this was a binding bet to be carried out by him, there is no room for making changes or citing non-related cases.

5. He has also more weakly claimed that quotes people responded to around that bet were to clarkson23devils and that name no longer exists. therobotdevil did not make those posts therefor he cannot be held accountable for the terms of the bet. This is so absurd as to not require anyone to explain why it is not only false, but slimy to even claim it.

While he claims that 3 above now is the damning thing that has already ended this bet, with a minor hedge of claiming he has already proven mcnabb has agreed to it ending, you cannot look at the other things he is doing to throw everything at the wall until something sticks to get out of this and not entirely condemn his weak effort to weasel out a bet he himself created.

And finally, the timing of everything should be considered. He was laughing about this bet and accusing others of trying to get mcnabb out of it when he was under the impression that UW was overhyped and that Oregon was going to win the North. His effort to start this campaign of deceit was spelled out on October 8th in the Oregon/UW game thread and across a couple of other threads on that day where he admitted he was considering just not honoring the bet. This was after he watched UW dismantle Oregon.

Good people of SportsHoopla. This may seem as just some silly bet and no big deal. Indeed, perhaps either USC wins or the admins decide not to ban him for whatever reason they see fit. There are broader implications here. You should not enter into bets lightly. If you do enter into a bet and bring in an outside source to uphold it there should be very strict guidelines around it. And attempting to abuse the rules and do everything possible to weasel out of it when the prospects of your side winning are not looking as strong should bring a harsh and swift indictment on the perpetrator.

If McNabb is still holding onto his claim for this bet, and ford does not offer up any compelling reasons why it should not be honored, this bet must be carried out. If McNabb agrees to call it off he certainly is within his rights to do so. Outside of that, it must be carried out in full.

The people in the above entitled action rest their case.

Wiz brings up some good points and is very concise with his argument, however this Clarkson guy is already gone and TheRobotDevil is a different screen name altogether. Judge is going to have a hard time convicting a poster that is already gone.

I see an acquittal in the future. Unless USC win, of course.

Yeah, well except all of those quotes now have his new name next to them. Too bad for him it doesn't keep his old name for those.

You if all people should be bashing him considering the very strong case you built against jeffro. I mean being consistent and all.
