Can you believe someone bringing conference supriority bullshit to our thread after two cellar dwellers battled to a 3 point difference? I mean you measure your conference off that?

Love the conference nutswingers this time of year. Really do. Entertaining at least.

And not to make excuses, UVA does have a pretty stout defense and those coast to coast games are tough enough without adding in the facts of being the first game of the season. (Rust, jitters)

I think we will be fine moving forward...

Not that I'm looking past Memphis next week, I will be keeping an eye on Texas next week when they face BYU they are our next roadie....

Either way vita, really hope our game tonight isn't this much of a let down. I mean again a win is a win, but still.

If it is, even in a win, you guys would be in huge trouble.

Chow just doesn't have it as a HC and it should be an easy pickins game for y'all!

BIG 1-0 vs Pac and and undefeated so far. Pac 2 loses already with many more games left on the table and UCLA could've been a loss without the terrible third down call by Virginia

i don't remember seeing any games that were a whole conference vs another whole conference. Must have missed that one. :rollseyes:

Virginia had the makings of a trap game for UCLA. The Bruins avoided the trap is about all that can be said.

Iowa struggled against Northern Iowa.
Ohio State struggled against Navy.
Illinois was losing to Youngstown State in the 4th quarter.
Purdue had a rough go against Western Michigan.

My guess is 3-2 for the Pac. I dont know about utah going to michigan but I think oregon and UW win and looks like Cal has a shot at Northwestern

Disappointed with WSU. They are the Cougs, but I was hoping from better from them. We are rivals, but I still pull to them when they're not playing UW.

Everyone is disappointed at their performance. Leach is a joke, he gives Coach Breske nothing to work with on defense by refusing to recruit defensive players so it's not a huge shock that they got run all over.

Morrow looked good on 2 runs so of course Leach refused to run the ball except when he went with the diamond formation inside the 2.

Let alone Leach doing putting his little favorite white receiver back as a punt returning. The Williams', Brooks, Morrow any play maker could be back there but he loves his little white guys.

Leach is an embarassment to the Pac-12 and is making Coug football even more of a joke than under Wulff.

seems like at least they got a quarterback, isn't he only a sophomore.

Sonny's dad is Spike Dykes, was a long time coach at Texas, before he went to Texas Tech. They lived in the hood, I played football with Sonny's brother Rick. And they had a sister, Bebe. Then they all packed up and moved to Lubbock, poor things.
