Hang yourself if zona loses to them. This isn't your daddy's Boise State.

Lines are starting to go live. For the PAC bowls so far:

Oregon -7.5
Arizona -4

Zona will have plenty of time to clean out the demons after the PAC12 CG massacre. I think they win this one, but will be a fun game to watch.

Nothing against the PAC or Washington players, but I said this about Leach from the beginning. The sheer volume of players coming out of Texas always guaranteed that he could get solid (but not great) players for his system in TTech, and that really kept him afloat. When TTech started doing well, he was able to start pulling in even better talent. He doesn't have that same luxury in Pullman what with having to compete for a much smaller pool of players against the same number of bigger schools. I never believed he could succeed there,or at least not at the same level as the last years at TTech.

Nobody was expecting him to go to the Rose Bowl in 3 years. For the Cougs, they simply don't want to be a doormat and get bowl eligible each year. They had a rough year, but you can see the improvement compared to the last coach there. They don't get to a bowl next year, Leach's seat will get hot fast.

Haven't heard anything further. WSU twitter says it isn't true. I Don't believe them

I'd be shocked if Leach is even interested.

Last Houston coach made nearly 1/3 of what Leach is getting now. The buyout alone to get Leach is more than double their prior coaches salary.

Houston would have to shell out a LOT of cash to make that happen. Doubt it's financially viable for them to do so.

I'm not saying anyone was saying that about the Rose Bowl, but I'm sure they were hoping to do better than 3-win seasons. Last season was okay, but now they're back to 3 wins again. Also, I can imagine how his, um, unique personality may be rubbing people the wrong way. It would be a lot easier to deal with his eccentricities if he could get them bowling.

You don't really hear a lot of negative press about Leach, even this year. The Cougs had a rough year, and the pressure is on because the PAC is ultra competitive these days, but unless the crap the mattress in OOC again in 2015, expect a better W-L.

Yeah. Leach has won more games in his 3 years than Wulff did in his 4 (not that it was all that difficult considering they only won 9 under Wulff) and got them to a bowl game last year.

I agree that if the Cougs don't show improvement next year, he'll be on the hot seat. But I think he gets at least 1 more season, possibly 2.

I also agree with Wiz. I don't think Houston can/will come up with the cash to get him.

Might as well make a thread for Mariota as he is going to have a lot of awards coming his way.

Please do. This is a PAC12 conf board. Make a thread somewhere else so all you Ducks can stroke your Mariota boners to your hearts content.

Huskies have multiple players up for awards but I'm not going to spam the PAC12 thread with posts about it on every page over and over. One mention is plenty here.

tPAC had a great W-L bowl season last year. Expecting that again based on the matchups.

Well I can already hear it now: Pac has 7 of 8 teams favored so anything less than running the table will get met with a shit storm from the usual suspects. Not covering the spread will meet a similar fate.

Of course there will be valid reasons why their conference will lose a few and not beat the spread, but it's different. Right?
