Pac 12 thread means news about any team from Pac 12 is fair feed material.

Brag on then.Yeo. I get your point. Made me wonder if the 4 in 15-4 included the loss to Zona that done you out of the PAC championship last year and included the loss to Arizona that spoiled your 12-0 record this year or the loss to Stanford that did you out of the PAC championship the year before? If the answer is yes, 15-4 don't sound so good. Or is the PAC being reminded that you are looking at 16-4 or 15-5"?

Well said. PAC coaching took a big loss today. Class act and great coach.

Agree, but as we challenge the SEC for conference one, it helps if we cannot be described as a "classy" act, which Coach Riley truly is. Certainly will be a change for the Huskers as well.

Coach Riley will be missed. An old school guy, and I hope he does well at Nebraska, until they play Oregon of course. I literally have never said a bad thing about Riley, and anyone who does is an asshole
:

As well as many of those who don't.

God, kiffin to OSU would be outstanding on many levels. Love to see that Lane v USC angle.

Would be a huge step back in integrity, but then anyone going there will be.

Who ELSE is 2-0 over Oregon for the last two years. OSU needs RICH RODRIGUEZ!

Would you want to move up from the Wac or MWC if you are coaching a team that competes well at that level every year for a middle tier Pac team that likely doesn't have the resources, despite your skill set, to really compete for the top of that conference?

I could see the HC from EWU. Whole different critter. But what incentives would Deruyter have?

He's good, I still like Beau Baldwin at Eastern Washington, strong Northwest Ties and man he really has improved that program. Even beat OSU which was pretty impressive for EWU to do.

Not to mention he almost beat UW twice at home. Those EWU games were stressful.

Someone took the middle tier Washington job.

Deruyter's name has come up for other jobs as a candidate. He would be a quality hire for the Beavs.

Wow. The Beavs still have to be a bit shocked with this news. Riley seemed to be happy there for the longterm.

He rode his bike to work!

He was 5-7. A lot

He seemed as safe from being poached as the fat girl at a Victoria's Secret model convention

3 times in 13 months, I don't think so!

The South is better IMO from top to bottom but Oregon is high a top of the PAC once again it seems.

Arizona vs Oregon -13 1/2

Arizona - 18
Oregon - 38

GL to both fan bases!

:suds:

Winner should go to the playoffs!
