Ya, I am definitely bummed to see the PAC lose Riley. But I kind of get the feeling that this might be best for both parties.

For Riley, I wonder if there was a bit a fatigue where he was very comfortable and was sort of going through the same motions he has for years now. That is what Coach Petersen said about Boise and I could see that same thing happening for Riley. Now, with a new exciting job, Riley will have something really driving him.

And from OSU's standpoint, Nebraska will have to pay Riley's exit fee and OSU will have a lot more money to work with. They will get a new coach who can bring some fresh energy into the program.

For OSU, I am intrigued about the prospect of Beau Baldwin from Eastern Washington. I have no idea if he would make it in the PAC, but he sure seems to be able to coach.
