And I've already stated that you have no idea how to compile a rational thought..twice. Looks like I won upped ya.

I'll just put this one in the win column and move on before the old adage comes into play regarding you making me dumber and what not...

:pound: And no you didn't. But go ahead and think what you want, I'll just keep laughing at you.

Yeah do that Oregon.

Doubt it happens with so much on the line for Oregon's playoff ambitions.

Well, Mrwallace, the Beavs are experienced. The Beavs have knocked one top ten team out of the top ten, why not another?

Well, Mrwallace, the Beavs are experienced. The Beavs have knocked one top ten team out of the top ten, why not another?

Host of reasons NN.

Beating ASU was the result of dumbluck and a few explosive plays. Beavs have been lucky to win both their Pac games this year.

Defense is soft...lousy front D line, decent LBs and a fair secondary. I cringe every game I watch as Beaver DC Banker rushes the front 4, which almost never puts pressure on the opposing QB and falls everyone else back into zone reads. This defense allows almost all opponents plenty of time to pick-n-choose targets to get the ball too. I know our kids try hard, but that scheme D is doomed to fail from the start. Play that crap next weekend and MM will curbstomp us.

I prefer a D that brings a fight to the opposing O with constant pressure D, something the Beavers can do, but still have problems getting to the RB or QB with the ball. Beavs did try blitzing last night and did hurry UWub QB Miles with hits as well. Why the Beavs didn't continue doing that in the 2nd half I do not know. The basic zone D 4 up front scheme is what they play and it makes them soft.

As for the Beaver O...I love Mannion and his arm, but w/o an O-line and RB to protect him...he is a sitting duck waiting to get sacked. The O-line blocked well against ASU and picked up their blitz well...losing T Ward at RB hurt the Beavs this week because RB S Woods can't block for shit...UWub should have had 10 sacks last night...was painful seeing Mannion wanting to be sacked as pressure came at him, grab an ankle and he went down.

No creativity in our OC Garrett's gameplan either. Riley wanted "balance", as he always does before a game. Problem is...if the run game aint there, then throw the ball more. How many times did I see the Beavers run twice and third an 5s and end up punting. I didn't mind the 3 4th down and shorts the Beavs tried to convert, but christ call a decent 4th down play up field going north-n-south instead of east-n-west as they tried.

Anywhoze, I look forward to having a new duel-threat QB, a tougher more experienced O-line AND D-line in the future.

Tough last two years for the Beavs after starting out 6-1 and then 4-1. Going into Pac play and folding up like a tent to end the years.

ONWERDZ!

Baring a meltdown by ranked PAC team or Oregon choking in the PAC12 CG which is always a possibility, the pac bowl picture is pretty clear.

Except USC didn't do themselves any favors by getting their pants pulled down by Mora last night.

Oregon playoff
UCLA Fiesta
Alamo ASU
Holiday USC ( but Zona might take this spot)
Foster Zona or USC
Sun Utah
Vegas Furd
Cactus Washington

Cal possibly gets a at large if they beat BYU.

No shit!!:L Hopefully we can redeem ourselves vs. the Domers this Saturday. I will likely be pulling for the Ducks in the CCG for 2 reasons. 1.) They'll probably be playing UCLA and well..... Fuck UCLA. 2.) I really want to see a PAC team in the playoff and they are the one that can for sure get there. Everyone else has at least 2 losses.

Congratulations are in order! The streak has ended!

Not the shameful streaks vs Oregone and ASU, but Coach Pete did manage to end a streak this season.

Every single season of Sarks reign we lost at least 3 in a row at some point of the season, 4 in a row his first year.

That ended this year.

So congratulations to the Seniors and Coach Pete!

Too bad that all you're doing is embarrassing yourself.

Coming from the guy who can't formulate a coherent argument.

I think I will have to take this as a compliment, and yet another victory.

They'll probably be playing UCLA

Let's talk about that one before I hit the road!

Oregon flat out embarrassed the Bruins in the regular season. Do you guys think it goes that way again? Perception is, it's hard to win the rematch in CFB.

Bruins have got to be pissed and just itching for a second chance. I think if they beat Furd, and they should, the rematch will be a much tougher game.

Bruins will be ready. Ducks are going to be soft after ending the season with Colorado and the Beavers, while UCLA has to fight through the last game against tough competition in USC and Furd.

I won't be here for the game, but I'm calling it now. Bruins win!!!

The problem for UCLA is that this will be the 3rd time in 2 years that they have played Oregon and neither of the 1st 2 games were close. They beat them 42-14 last year and 42-30 this year in a game that wasn't as close as the score makes it look. The Ducks were up 35-10 before Helfrich called off the dogs and UCLA got a couple of late scores.

In UCLA's favor, they are playing well at the right time and it's hard to beat a good team twice in the same season. But they really haven't shown they can handle Oregon.

It doesn't help that Oregon seems to be hellbent on getting Mariota the Heisman and getting into the playoff. I think the game will be closer, but I still expect the Ducks will win by 2 scores. The difference though will be that this time they will probably pull away late rather than take them out early like they last year and this year.
