This game was circled at beginning of the season - it is right after the Stanford game and in a very tough place to play. The Utes are well coached and have some talent. The Ducks lost their Right Tackle last week and the Freshman that struggled against WSU & AZ will be in there today. This will be a very tight game.

I have nothing but respect for this program and that teams scheduling. THEE best in the Nation at it for sure.

But tonight I believe is the SunDevils time to shine. This IS the GOW in the Pac in my OP. We saw how close the ND game was with Stanford. Don't think Golson and Co will find many scoring opportunities in this game with an improving SD D and a SD O with Kelly having time to heal and a couple of quality starts behind him. Guess it comes down to how his ankle is feeling and if he can stay healthy during this game.

Should be a beaut.

We are really in trouble if we have to now start helping you keep the 12 schools in the Pac straight.
Sparky refers to the mascot of ASU (Arizona State University, located in Tempe AZ) so that would be fitting when talking to a fan of that institution. UW's mascot is called Harry the Husky. Think you can remember that?


It's awsome that you agree with everything your coaches ever do and every decision they make. I mean that kind of comes with not really understanding the sport, but still good for you. I'm entitled to not agree with anything I please. Maybe when you learn a little more about this sport you too will start to find some things you don't agree with. Just keep working at it!

I know I already told you the problems between the coaches and kids are a combination of first year HC AND the drastic change in culture (I.E. Sark's kids are not the kind of kids Petersen normally coaches). Please try to keep up. It would cut down on the redundant postings.

Might be a valid zinger if it wasn't for the fact I brought this up many times while Sark was still here. I mean you can connect those dots without help right? (Maybe not as I've already pointed that out and yet here you are)

Please show me a year he suspended and/or tossed off 9 players from the team by November 5th. I'll patiently wait right here...

Rumblings are Peters wasn't the last of these distraction kids, but no one is naming names. Let's just assume it's 10 and be very generous. They did say 'others' so it's likely higher.

Now let's also assume UW has more or less 100 kids on the team and 1/5 of those are true/RS freshmen. No one has mentioned any problems with these kids and while many had committed to Sark to begin with, Petersen still took them in so they are his kids. Follow me so far condom? (See, at least I get your mascot right ). So let's just say around 80 kids that were Sark's. We are looking at between 12% - 15% of those kids being distractions and/or causing problems for the team.

Find me examples of Petersen and Riley teams with those levels of problems in a single season. You keep insisting no one is talking about it (because I thought it was obvious, but forgot who I was talking to) so now I'll expect you to prove your point.

Funny. All that yapping and Sarks "kids" beat Petersons "kids" 38-6 last year. Pretty amazing considering Peterson only has choir boys and Sark doesn't care about character. I think all this is more about Peterson than the kids on the Washington team. Something tells me he'd have the same issues if he took over at Oregon or USC or Oregon State.

Just as I thought. When challenged to back your shit up you bail and blather on about something else.

There are tons of my posts on the UW board about Sark's lack of discipline and my total disdain for it. If I said that while he was still our coach wouldn't you think I'd still be saying the same thing now, especially after a potential first round draft choice of his was just thrown off our team?

Stop being so overly sensitive about any mention of Sark. In this case it's very justified.

When you have a team with over 10% of their kids either suspended or thrown off the team and reports say there are other problem children, you have a clear case questioning the character of the kids that coach brought in. Only a desperate blind homer trying to defend their coach at all costs wouldn't get that.
